@@LifestyleOverland don't toss the bow saw. I've been a DeWalt man for almost 20yrs and the chainsaws are not good. AvE shows the plastic components on a breakdown. I've had the 20 and 40, they're not good products and pour bar oil out. Leak is not the word for it. Love DeWalt and understand how you get sucked into a brand bc of power supply compatibility, but keep the bow saw and grab a Condor machete...the flex volt sawzall with a pruning blade is bulletproof, but slower

Stoke level is 100% that you guys mapped out this route. Nearly all of it is right out of my backyard living in Western Colorado and sadly I’ve never done a lot of this. I agree that the Ouray/Silverton area is just too over crowded these days and finding hidden gems like this will keep us all exploring. Support the local communities as you roll through. Here in Paonia we’d love to see more of the community come by.

Very nice following you along the High Country Overland Trail. Please plot something along Southern Utah especially focusing between Kanab Hw 89, Roughly following scenic byway 12 from Escalate to Bolder and Torrey into Capital Reef Nat'l park. You should be able to piece together some good off road overland routes in that area. I bet the Chain saw gets a front row seat on the next adventure.
