I am working on putting mine together still. I've had to file down so many of the holes because after they were drilled they were powder coated, making it impossible for the bolts to go through. One of my 2 springs is mangled, so I need to contact tech support next week. This is definitely a 2 person job and will take probably 4 or more hours. I am almost done.

For the speed shift system step 6.1, would it not be more helpful to have pre-drilled pilot holes to attach the pads. Not all of us have drills with torque to do this. I tried a couple of the drills that I have and still have trouble drilling through the frame.

@@LifetimeProductsAssemblyTo add to that, isn't water going to be funneled down under the pads and now go directly in to the holes that we drill into the frame? So now they aren't protected by powder coating and will rust... Might have to skip this step to extend the longevity of the product.

Since the springs are compressed and have not been used, this is what causes it to have a hard time to go into place. We've found that it's easier to do this step by grabbing a closed end wrench and pulling it towards the hex bolt. Why can’t you put weight on top the base so then you can move the hoop easier
@LifetimeProductsAssembly2 жыл бұрын
Doing that will cause damage to the base so it doesn’t preform like it needs to. It can dent in or create cracks by putting stuff on top. Putting sand or water in the base, like it’s designed to, will help it stay in place so the system doesn’t fall over while in use.

@LifetimeProductsAssembly6 ай бұрын
The poles are pictured in the assembly manual and this helps with differentiating between them. If you take a look at page 6 of the manual, you can see that the top pole is 30.5" and has 2 large holes that are further apart from each other, while the bottom pole is 43" and has 2 large holes at the bottom and a slit at the top.
@Mark-em5zm7 ай бұрын
None of your poles are labeled. Took a long time to make sure the correct piece was being placed the right way. Something that can be assembled in about 45 min took 3 hrs. And the instruction to fill the base with sand earlier is garbage. Your written instructions are complete crap.

Are the ABB nuts 🔩 on page 8 of the instructions manual supposed to not screw all the way?
@LifetimeProductsAssembly2 жыл бұрын
These screws are center locking nuts. Since they create their own threads it's hard to screw them all the way. We find it easier to have a socket wrench to turn the nut and a regular wrench to hold the nut into place.
