Ashley if you ever find McCoy pottery at the thrift store buy it they were a very big pottery and went out of business several years ago a lot of their pieces sell for a lot of money they end up a thrift stores because people have know idea what they have I knew the McCoys personally and lived about 5 minutes from the pottery 😊

So I looked up McCoy pottery on Etsy. Would you believe that a coworker of my husband’s gave us a bunch of her dad’s old pots for a school propagation project and I kept some and put my own into the school pile. One of these was a McCoy pot valued at over $100?! Funny how karma works- she can be a jerk to him and make work hard.

I have just recently started watching your videos. I love them! ❤️ I just keep going and going lol My favorite things plants and thrifting lol I'm so glad to hear your going to show how you've used your thrift finds I've been dying to see those. Also wondering if you could show how your keeping humidty for your plants. Alot of people show house tours but never mention how they are keeping them regarding temperature and the humidity. Picked up a pink princes from Home Depot on sale rack. Pretty variegation. 6” pot, large plant I just put a moss pole. $20. Can’t beat that. My favourite is your thrifting. I’m a big time thrifter. Great haul. 👍🇨🇦

I so love your videos. I always feel so good watching your shopping trips. You are so kind and energetic. I am grateful that you don't say rude things about prices at any of the greenhouses you go to. I always cringe when women are filming inside greenhouses and they make loud, rude comments about a business and/or their price levels. Thank you so much for always being a positive and classy chick! Kings greenhouse has some very nice plants, I do need to take a trip down there. I loved all the thrifting treasures you found and your plant is gorgeous!! That sweater is lovely and that artsy handbag is awesome!

You totally inspired me to go thrifting for some “grow lights” and 6 inch pots. I hit 2 local goodwill stores and one savers. The first store I hit the jackpot! I found 2- 8 inch Tiffany lamp shades! I went to Menards to get the wiring kit and daylight bulbs. With the kits at $15 each, bulbs at $10, and shades at $10 each, I saved myself $160! I had Tiffany lamps in my Amazon cart- but they were $110 each! I also got a couple cute handmade pots and some books for my nephews. Thanks for the inspiration!

I personally don't really look for propagating containers as I usually do mine in soil, but I will look for bowls/containers etc that look like they'd make cute planters and drill holes with a masonry bit.

That's a great hall. I love that self watering pot. I thrift a lot of cover pots. I also live in a town where we don't have trash pick up, so we have to go to the transfer station to drop off trash and recycling weekly. They also have a 'gift house' which basically is people getting rid of things that other people might like and it's completely free. I have gotten so many great cover pots there. Random side note, my mother loves All Creatures Great and Small. She's addicted to Brit Box and PBS. 😊

I purchase a lot of cover pots and also clear vessels for self-watering setups at thrift stores. My tip: If you are looking for a specific size cover pot or vessel, take the nursery pot with you. That way you can try it on in the store before bringing it home and finding out it isn't the right size.

Great thrift haul! Loved the White Wizard you picked up at Kings! I bought one of the Purple Swords they had on the right side of the shop about ten days ago and I love it! Several years ago I was given a glass Christmas Tree container just like the one you picked up. It came with Hersheys Kisses in Christmas colors. I love it and I refill it during the Holidays every year. Hands down one of the best and most used gifts I have ever received. Love the pot with the deep blue swirls. What a great plant pot and such a good price! Many thanks for this fun video. 👌🪴🥰

I loved the glass vase with the black trees could do a no drainage plant i think the black raven zz would be lovely for it. I also like the glass star and twisted bowl one too i would put trinkets in them. The Philodendron White Wizard looks so pretty. I wonder which one would be the easiest to care for compared to the Philodendron White Princess? The white princess does give you pink leaves which is a bonus. I find the white parts can get discoloured so i have given up on white variegations plants.

Great finds! 🙌😊 I went thrifting today and found some great finds too!! Gap jeans for 6, a gorgeous ornate floor mirror , 5 ft tall for 20!! And… many clear glass vessels for plants with pon or Lecca 2.50 to 3.50 each!! 💚🙌🪴

I collected succulents and 90% all my planters are terra cotta and 10a% ceramic. I love terra cotta❤ the terra cotta planter you pick up; the pot in the front I would pick that one up if I was there. So pretty.

For terra cotta with that little indent in the bottom a Phillips head screw driver and a hammer will punch it out without cracking it. Just be gentle. If it won’t give you can wet it and drill it out. Oh my goodness! The thrift book section! I’ve been thrifting my nephew’s Christmas gift this year. He and I thought it would be crazy if I bought him a library for his gift. So far I’ve got about 30 books for about $2 each! At our local library they have a room where they sell “old” or donated books and the proceeds go to the library. I got the sale day and got 3 for $1!
