What an adventure! Had so much fun on the trail with y'all, the Subaru got me back home to the boat with no issues. She's a beast!

(Un)interrupted fun! I am surprised at the ability of the 2001 Subaru! Truly. So upset with my condition that prevented me from joining you. For sure I'd have had fun. Enjoyed the video, as usual. Stay safe!

@Philip Bryant, thank you so very much for the concern! Yes, definitely next time! I am (almost) completely healed; and my Trailhawk almost ready; Daniel at 6 Monkeys installed a full protection underneath but ACC is not working and Daniel said he'll fix it in early January. Happy Thanksgiving, Phil!

Doing this with all those low vehicles, especially the Subaru, and tires that aren’t all that big, is very impressive and brave. I’m from right by this area and I know it’s very rough. Impressive, well done. You’re braver than me haha

Brad, that's good news. I should be healed completely by the time you're ready for the next outing. I'll join you then!

Looks like there's a lot of pine straw on that Jacksonville Trail. Pine straw can be like ice sometimes.

Hell yeah that and leaves, especially like oak leaves and such. I’m from the county west of both Calhoun and Talladega (St. Clair) and my buddy and I made an off-road lawn mower. We basically removed the deck and spray painted it camo, and put a beautiful flag on it lmao anyways when we’d ride down the steep hill behind pawpaw’s, it would lock the wheels up if you braked, and you’d actually go faster, due to smaller rocks, pine straw, and leaves. So we put it in low gear instead, which was power all the way down and 1 out of 7 in the speed. I couldn’t believe how well it worked keeping us at slow and steady speed. A miracle we survived Hahahah I still have that mower but the “transmission” or whatever is having issues

What all trail did you do in the National Forest? Going in a few weeks and it looks like something we'd enjoy.

Great video! Which Warn did Phil have? Ever figure out the issue?
@ProdigalOverland2 жыл бұрын
Not sure, and no he still doesn't know what's up. It was rated to 10,000 pounds
@phillipbryant46092 жыл бұрын
Warn 10,000 rated. I'm thinking that maybe the clutch is disengaging from the inside somehow (the handle didn't move, though). Also wondering if the line is not spooled neatly, might it cause it not to pull? Thanks for any feedback y'all might have.

Thinking about getting a Forester wilderness. Can a modded wilderness with better wheels and tires and rock slider hang with you guys all the way? Your thoughts would be much appreciated

This is why the people ran into the garage with the chainsaws, instead of the running Subaru!
