I was asked to say something in support of the Iranian people and felt it was the right thing to do. As a comedian I'm lucky to enjoy freedom and want the same for others. Do you?
SHARE to raise awareness and maybe we can get to the light at the end of this dark tunnel.

I just read "Captive in Iran" by Maryam Rostampour and Marziyeh Amirizadeh and it was so enlightening as to just a bit of what it is like in Iran for people who "go against" the regime. It made me really sad, but also optimistic that times will change, with God's grace, and that Iran and other countries under Muslim control will be free! :)

Hey K1 I have lived and suffered in Iran for 31 years All of the time that I am daydreaming, it leads to considering how would it be if we were truly free in Iran. We have suffered in so many different ways. Sometimes to escape this horror, I watch different comedy shows from U.S. however, it peaces my mind for just during this short trip of mind. Anyhow, I know that success will cost one (as a person or a nation). As a result, I myself am ready to sacrifice myself in the way of freedom. If you think I can help you in any way such as translating, creating content etc. all you need to do is letting me know in advance. It is great to have some people like you abroad to show the world that Persians are not just these people that most media show.

My mother is from Czechoslovakia. From what I've been told two of my family members disappeared in the late 70s. They were being a bit too dissentful. My mom knew not to repeat what she heard my grandparents saying in the kitchen. Luckily the whole area is free from the corrupt communist state but I feel for Iran. I don't know if I would be able to live in a theocracy like that!

It kills me inside when I hear the term "Islamic" being thrown around everywhere by everyone. These people use the name of religion to justify their wrongdoings and to convince people to follow their lead and not object. People often get blind-sighted to that. All the love goes to the Iranian people, but not their government. Stay strong. History will be written.

I understand your opinion but Iran’s freedom should not be a concern of the United States nor of any other country but of Iran itself. If people in Iran want a real change, it needs to happen from within, and not by foreign intervention. You can’t force change from the outside, no matter how good your intentions might be.

I agree with you regarding iran policies and problem but not with supporting Trump. I am Muslim ( u can hate me u want 😅) from India. As far as i know ISLAM never teaches anyone to oppresses someone just because they are from different religion or they don't agree with you. U can disagree with them but u can't torture them. Islam says if your neighbor(anyone regarding religion) is hungry or is in any financial problem or something else and u are enjoying your life without helping him then u r definitely going to hell unless that person himself forgive u. That's the real Islam. Islam talk about jihad but it is about your inner demons, jihad from wrong things like lies, taking advantage of someone, making someone sad from your action. According to the Islam if u kill a single innocent people then u have kill the whole humanity. That's the real Islam.

I think we all want freedom for Iran. The question is how you interpret events and the motives behind them. You say ignore the past, but then you’re destined to make the same decisions in the future. The US has a demonstrated pattern of supporting authoritarian regimes and minimizing popular movements. The 2003 invasion of Iraq has left a bad taste in people’s mouths. So yes, we want freedom for Iran. But why did Trump wait until the midst of impeachment and an approaching election to suddenly assassinate someone? Why stop with suleimani? Why not take out khamenei and the theocrats? Thanks for sharing your thoughts my half persian brotha. Here’s to freedom for Iran with Nowruz!

Kvon, Keep being political. George Carlin was political and a lot of what he jested about was true. Had the people truly heard his message, the world may be different. K-von jan, I am sorry to say this was not a thorough analysis. I counted more on you. You probably would have edited your video if you had been to Iran yourself. I am with you regarding human rights issues and I consider the recent incidents a shame. I am mourning and wearing black right now. But you talk like someone influenced by the media. You words inevitably show that you have a biased image. Search the videos of recent travellers to Iran and don't just include the women in veil who are marching (mainly fanatic or paid to do so). US strategy is "only" attacking civilians and the Iranians government's reaction is even worse (as seen in the horrible plane crash). Those affiliated with the regime are getting richer and richer, their kids are abroad, and the more US tweets about supporting the brave Iranian protesters, the more the armed forces will be harsh on them. پسر خوب، نفست از جای گرم در میاد. این روش به نفع ایرانیان مقیم ایران نیست

I resect if you voted for trump or your view on this issue. I do like that trump maybe has conversations with countries considered our enemies. But I do not support a man that defends dictators and does quid pro quos over our own intelligence, and calls everyone fake news, or fires people that disagree with him, or call haiti a s***hole country, etc.
@kvoncomedy
@kvoncomedy 4 жыл бұрын
I agree. But are these the only few things you don’t like Remember... Democrats just said he said that. Do you have any proof he said that? He never said it out loud in public. in the USA democrats call the middle of the country shithole states. So they are used to talking like that. Also Joe Biden did a quid pro quo. He demanded his son get a multimillion dollar job in exchange for funding from tax payers. Trump merely asked Ukraine to look into that on their own. Joe biden is not a presidential candidate. He’s merely part of the old administration and we are curious if corruption was taking place during those 8years. Merely an inquiry. Were those your only major issues?
@aalvarez2914
@aalvarez2914 4 жыл бұрын
You are kind of missing some info Brian. Quid Pro Quo is how a lot of our foreign policy is done, especially with nations we have issues with. It literally just means something for something, and isn’t a crime. The question is what are we asking. Asking to investigate Biden’s more corrupt-appearing quid pro quo, threatening them to fire the prosecutor investigating his son and an extremely corrupt company is a good use of our pressure. It wasn’t “over our own intelligence”, and I’m not sure what you mean by that though. “Our own intelligence” does have elements in it that consider themselves the “steady state” and above the president though, and they do conspire with media to deceive people. Would you also be against Kennedy when he announced he was going to break apart the CIA for their deceit, both against the American people and him, or would you have supported his assassination which allowed the head he fired to handle the commission and story after his death. A lot of news is fake news and we should all call it out when they do that, whether we’re regular citizens or in positions of power. One of the keys of a respectable intelligence agency is when they respect the chain of command and rules respecting civilians, which some in our intelligence didn’t when they abused FISA to go after Trump for politics, and fed the people false info about it. And some countries are crapholes. Some countries are terrorist hellholes, but a more mature understanding lets you admit that as well as admit how we contributed to creating the mess, like in Libya.
