I purchased a couple of these solar lights at Costco several years ago to install on and in my 10x12 Barn shed too. One on the inside and one above the entryway doors. It’s been a total game changer. 😎👍👍

Awesome! Not sure why I had never heard of people doing it before it seems like such a simple easy answer for interior areas that don’t have electricity

I put a solar light in my shed last summer nice to know im not the only one with this idea. But now they make solar lights for sheds.

Nice! Oh they do, sounds like our method had some influence!

This is my solution also, but I’ve wondered if it works well enough. My shed has a couple large windows but I do want to use solar as auxiliary light.

Any in particular that you'd recommend or even seen others recommend? I'm looking to put one in my shed this summer.

Is it possible to set the light always on? Also with different intensity level? This is cool!

Just finished organizing my shed after moving into a new house a couple months ago. I am super OCD so it takes time to get things how I want them. Been looking into lights and just saw your video. The light looks good and I like the backup battery option. Definitely going with this light. Thanks for the video.

Cool! Yeah, this one’s been installed for six months now and I’m pretty happy with it! Always turns on when I go in

Their are some good ones now so no need for the wired ones now unless you want a surveillance cam with it

Is the light on a timer or turn off after a few minutes? In other words, how long can you keep it on if you want to work in the shed? Say for an hour or two?
@BitnerBuilt Жыл бұрын
It is on a timer that is adjustable, I have to go outside and look at it to see if the person is present and moving, will it continuously stay on. I actually have two motion sensor outlets in my garage shop that control the ceiling lights if I’m present in the shop and moving around they stay on indefinitely, regardless of the time I have set which is five minutes

Are these lights charged straight out the box ? or do i need to wait a day or 2 for a full charge with solar.. Also what on position should i have it on? Thank you
@BitnerBuilt2 ай бұрын
I let mine charge for a day or two first, I have it on auto. If not working after a day (need to talk in when it’s dark, then return maybe a bad battery

Do u leave this on the “on” position for the motion sensor to work. Is “auto” for dusk to dawn?
@BitnerBuilt4 ай бұрын
I use the auto since it’s dark inside the shed even during the day it will turn on when I open the door and go in which is nice to just light it up

I bought a similar solar light, but it's really annoying to use. It turns on with a motion sensor and it's so finicky. It shuts off too quickly. With they'd make them so they stay on for longer than just 30 seconds.
@BitnerBuilt Жыл бұрын
This one also turns on with motion, but it has a dial on it so that you can set how long it stays on for. I’ve actually been really happy with this one. It’s been installed for about four months now and it’s always on when I need it.
