Welcome to Sea Doo Adventures - Episode 145 - Lighthouse & Lion's Head.
In this video it is a beautiful Day and the waters of Georgian Bay are Glassy. So we are going to head out to check out the lighthouse at Cape Croker and then stop in at Barrier Island and end the trip checking out the amazing shore line at Lion's Head. Hope that you enjoy the ride Cheers!

It’s nice to be back on the water! So you launch and land your drone from the jet ski? Using your hand?

Yes it is so great to be back out there! Yes I do just by holding the body when it is taking off and then I put it in sports mode to land to turn the sensors off so I can catch it and not have it try and fly away. Taken a lot of practice doing on water but so far no issues. Thanks for checking out the video and for reaching out Cheers!

19:11 did I read it right ? you have 400 hrs on your ski ? Impressive . Did you rebuild the engine ?

Yes I am now over 400 hrs on it. Nope that is still the original engine only work that I did was around the 250 hr mark I replaced the carbon seal. it did not need to be replaced yet, like it was not broken just to be safe and I will change it again at 500 hrs. Otherwise I have had it checked and still in great shape. See no supercharger on it and I swear that is what kills these engines so I will never get one with a supercharge.

@@MarkForrestAdventures I have seen GTI's with 700-900 hours original engine. I have a RXT 300 for 3 years and have had zero issues. Mine is supercharged they just require more maintence. 200 hours and I do all my own work. Change ou the carbon seal like Mark just for maintence sake and the supercharger is all new it had zero issues I jsut did for maintence sake. If you take care and don't hammer them and run them wide open all day they last just fine too.

you are right on there as long as you take the time and do the full maintenance on the units and do a little proactive work they should last you a very long time! You are right on not running them wide open all day as well its an engine so if you push it to the extreme all the time will crap out so much sooner great advise!

Ah thanks so much. Round trip was 4 to 5 hrs all in from launch to return and that is of course with stopping to film, but from where I put in to Lions head, if you just ran it straight it would take just over 1 hr to cover that distance at like 55 kph
