Hey Richard, thanks for covering this subject as it's something I'm dealing with now. My question is, will I be able to keep my live plants healthy under a normal LED strip light?
@pruebj35533 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard. My set of 6 electric under cabinet lights arrived today. Managed to get them off Amazon for £16, so really pleased …. And I’ve managed to catch my escaped Panama Blonde, so it’s been a successful day.

Very informative! For the enclosures on the top shelf, do you place the puck light directly on top of the enclosure?

Hey RICHARD, NICE ZOO 😊!!! wonder 🤔 about introducing LED inside My enclosure., I'm currently working on it. Using. " RED"" , inside doing a theme W/ one @ a time., When I achieve ,, I'll move on to multiple throughout enclosure. 9:04 Trying to figure out a route from inside to the outside without having to drill My enclosure. Looking at gauge for thickness 😊, 🕸️🕷️✌️🤠👍🇺🇲💯%

I watched a video where you said to enjoy your collection or take time to smell the roses. I can’t walk very well so I will sit in my room and watch the T and it may sound dumb but I talk to it and really appreciate it. I can’t wait to get another one or so. I don’t know what I would do if not for your videos that I can really learn thanks again.

Great information! I have been using lower quality/cheap grow lights that are dimmable; only white & red. I will be sure to adjust them to their lowest setting with this info. Thank you, Richard!

I used the multicolor strips to cut to length of the rack, then connected them to a timer to simulate daytime hours. It's nice to be able to flip them from soft white to red for nighttime viewing.

I have mine in my bedroom. My father is 77 yrs old, and I caught him 'checking' containers. Nearly lost one of my arboreal because he left the lid off. Mr. Tree was smart and stayed on his home tote in the back. In my room, I have my fish tank, which is the only light source when I'm not in there. The fish and plants have their lighting. I have string lights behind them, turn down low when I want my mood lighting. People can give you weird looks when you tell them spiders don't need much on lights. Heck, they give me weird looks because I hate having my window unblocked. That room is kept at dusk no matter what. My T's and I have a great deal in common.

What aboutttt heat? You use any heat mats? I stay in north cali. It gets cold here and currently using a heating mat inside an insulated cabinet with glass doors. But wanted to change it up a bit. Oh, b.t.w my Ts like the light, when its day light they will move to the end where the sun shines.
@antony13122 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard love your videos. I grow plants in my enclosures so need to run the lights to help plant growth. Any thoughts? I try to only leave them on for half the day but do worry about the Ts being dazzled by the lights. And can't dim them. I use exo terra vivs with the lighting and also have exo terra led lighting with different colours. I'll use red from now on! Thanks
