This is an unexpected well of knowledge. So much better than the other guides ive come across. Instead of saying "do this; its good" you're saying "im doing this, BECAUSE". Really really helpful, especially when it comes to explaining the math and kind of hidden mechanics. I am still using the grenade build and I've been using it all the way until t15 maps. I haven't looted a single perfect gem and I noticed this build uses 3 x6 link gems. Will this work with 5 links or is it best to keep playing gas grenade until I loot some perfect gems?

So my experience at 70% evasion was that I was still dying to phys explosions and slams so without armor youre not tanky enough unless you spec into acrobatics. It's hard to get there, but 25% armor after sorcery ward reductions is making a diff.

Instant damage from Galvanic Shards is better than waiting for your Grenades to explode. Electrocute is also a good extra defensive layer, not something Grenades can get reliably.

For bossing when you don't need blink, you could add blasphemy + conductivity for a damage boost. I want to try making a Doryani's version of this, but am not sure if the defence issues can be fixed.

I tried a bit of Doryani's myself with it, but it really requires having a ton of armor. If you can get armor percentage past 65% and not use sorcery ward then it may be viable as your armor also mitigates lightning damage you've taken. I decided to go with the cloak of flame method but not getting sorcery ward as of yet as it'd cripple my other defenses in armor (going iron reflexes currently). My build is a mess and it's sort basically the prototype tanky version Bigdaddy uses on his lightning crossbow witchhunter. That version is seems fairly tanky but it's dps could be lower than this one.

pinnacles (at least I've studied only arbiter/xesht) have 75 lightning res and I've gotten >75% pen which means any lightning hit will be equivalent to 0% res. Reduced resistances will not help with single target on pinnacles with my current set up. If you don't have 75 pen, you will still have -26% exposure.

Wildstorm + lightning rod on passive tree are the synergy combo! then if you have kitoko's you will want to take the electrocute effect. After that go into attack speed then evasion to round off the build after your uber lab.

There's no reason to get armor because you're just going to lose 50% of it and you need a high number for it to be worthwhile

When it comes to picking up items from the ground, let's prioritize meta items like bows, crossbows, and quivers of high value. Should we only pick up those with the name EXPERT to ensure higher base damage? And in relation to the correct use of chaos, exalted orbs, etc., how do you view a weapon, for example, and know whether you should continue or reroll the mods? Just give me your view without going into too much detail, as I’m trying to learn as much as possible to start correctly in the next leagues. I'd say as you play builds, watch other streamers and understand what meta builds use and study gear, you will begin to identify what affixes and/or combination of affixes will be valuable. If you're not sure if an item you drop is valuable, check it on trade for similar rolls. There's not exhaustive list as meta builds change and learning what is good will take time. From there you will understand if an item has potential by using the currency orbs on it. jewels are anything you need at this point, if defences then max res/evasion, if QOL reload speed/attack speed/etc. and damage proj damage/attack dmg/ele damage/xbow damage/etc. and scaling ailments if you find your shocks too short then shock dura or effect for bigger shock.

I did not use sorc ward for boss, you take out explode and sorc ward and go for full concentration spec for more damage and reduced CDR on boss. I then take acrobatics for AOE dodge which essentially give >50% chance to not get 1 shot in pinnacles.

@@brokengamer7737 you can use it as a defensive option but that also means you can't take acrobatics. So it's either or. Dropping sorc ward for concentration and taking acro was in my opinion a good option for SC pinnacle fights. In HC, sorc ward could have a place to stay.

This build looks stronger than the grenades, but I like the grenade gameplay, but I understand that in order to kill the Pinnacle bosses, I need to invest 100 div+, but even then it will not be as effective as the titan or archer builds, do you think they will improve somehow, these are grenades.

@@Voroniirijeglaz unfortunately, I feel they did gas grenade dirty there with the panic day 2 nerf. So many other more powerful skills in the endgame appearing. But in GGG's defense, it's early access so things like this are bound to happen :)

I'm little bit disappointed and confusd by ggg. I startes grenades build, and see how this is just slow and low damage against t2 bosses even with 6 link 20ex crossbow with 350+ phys dps with 100 ele attack inc. Just absurd, in my mind: balance of game is slow skills but they have more aoe or damage, but in reality of poe 2 now it isn't

@@СтасМожаев-я8в ggg still can't balance skills properly, they just act on popularity first, they have bad testing etc. Slow skills must damage more or have other benefits, balance is not only same damage nerfs. Grenades like gas or explosive have only more problems with contamination of all screen, and less damage scalling))))))). Fun of game ends when u see comparation with other skills and classes. We all have one trade, we all want to play and become rich and stronger in game with our build or another. Ggg just doing poe1 mistakes, it would be another op hex blast skills for 2+ years, or like general cry which only in last new league patch of poe1 was nerfed to unplayable, before it was op for 4 years

that is not the case, there's too much to talk about here but generally the %increases on the passive tree are additive into the "increased" bucket. e.g. %lightning %elemental %attack %twohanded %projectile etc.

Super awesome content!! Some question: Seems like you put all good multiplier support gems on skills that is NOT "Galvanic Shards", which is used in all non-boss fight scene. How will you adjust if I only use two skill? Galvanic Shards and shockburst? Is eletrocute only for defensive purpose in non-boss fight?

Galvanic shards can eat electrocute as well for extra damage, in those cases the shock run out or fails to apply for some reason. The clear damage comes from the fork and chain beams, doesn't need that much support damage.

Hey ty a lot for the guide, brings me on a lot of ideas and questions. First of all if there is diminising returns, would it be better to run hybrid to maximize eva/armor, while just for ex sacrificing 10% more eva for ~35% more phys reduc? Have you considered this? Also we are not scaling eva much on the tree and you already had the cloak of flames setup, wouldnt the CoF setup still be worth without going to the warrior side of the tree? Second you are already shocking with plasma burst, on the boss showcase. Is the weapom swap really necessary, or only using for pinacle bosses? And finally, I have seen many variations of this build. Esp BigDaddys and MbXtree were appealing. Comparing your version to theirs (if youve seen them), what would you say are the most important takeaway points?

great point, in POE1 this is absolutely achievable hence became the defacto meta especially before the determ/grace reworks 2 leagues back. However, we don't have conquest lamellar equivalents nor do we have defensive auras in POE2 and the numbers we can achieve are significantly lower. in pinnacles, they may last longer than the shock duration provided by plasma burst (as you saw in xesht 2 fight), and the weapon swap serves that purpose to apply shock in a quick way from a distance with no channel required. I did not study their builds in depth, I'd say my current approach for scaling defences and offence is decently optimal with current levels of investment.

@@aer0planegaming781 Probably intended by design as not even min-maxing action speed can really affect it's base 2second channeling time from what I hear. Though the faster the attack speed the better/lower the secondary channeling time as you already indicated in the video. Makes sense they'd hard cap a minimum channeling time to it due to it's insane damage multiplier. Honestly I'd prefer the base channeling time lowered to maybe 1second if they lower the damage multiplier by a relative percentage too.

Personally I value crossbow reload speed with Fork having 20% chance to split another time on a couple of jewels. Crossbow damage and lightning damage after that, depends on your budget.

it's an annoint! Use distilled emotions to annoint it. right click that distilled emotion from delirium mechanic and a window will pop up then you put in the correct emotions in order to get the specific annoint

fork creates a second projectile at a 60/-60% from initial proj, galva calculates a sum total of shards that hit the enemy, better shotgun potential and clear. chain absorbs and creates a new projectile.

did not mathematically work out after the release of gem numbers, gas was really strong, we rolled that then got nerfed day 2. Then this is what looked like the next strongest xbow skill.

I'd say yes! But as you saw, gas grenade is definitely capable to taking down end-game pinnacles in my previous showcase. This build has better clear and single target but will likely need a little more investment and levels to reach both lightning rod and wild storm on the tree

How did u get 3k on galvanic shard?i got 1.8к damage I checked all the skills in the tree for damage. Also, my stone level is 23. Maybe these 2 levels affect the damage? And i got crossbow with 180-520 dmg

Although i have a seperate question: When i'm using galvanized shard and then i use voltaic mark which is bind to my bow, when i left click it bugs my character, i start walking slow and cant perform any attacks. Did you have the same situation? Or do i have to use weapon swap every time or dodgeroll after swapping to crossbow? ;')

jewels are anything you need at this point, if defences then max res/evasion, if QOL reload speed/attack speed/etc. and damage proj damage/attack dmg/ele damage/xbow damage/etc. and scaling ailments if you find your shocks too short then shock dura or effect for bigger shock.

Charging is way too long and it does not "save" the build up, qualitatively it will be a liability to your action checks, you'll stay in danger longer and plank more dmg output matters little if it has huge cons like staying still
