I´d say overall it is "less is more" in every aspect of photo editing. HDR Look and horrible edited sky in landscape photography comes to my mind. very nice video!

Great video as always! The "fresh eyes" point is actually soo underrated. I often times find myself editing photos for hours just to take a little break, come back to the computer and not being happy with the results anymore. What really helped me, was only editing one photo out of a set. I then would take a break while the edited photo is being uploaded to google drive. Now I have the possibility to look at the photo with fresh eyes on multiple devices to decide wether I'm happy with the edit or not.

Great video as always! Definitely a mistake I made when starting out was not utilizing the HSL sliders. It’s one of my favorite tools in LR!

I'm gonna be that guy. Break, not brake. lol, great video! I really take the last tip to heart (no, not braking my heart), by giving it a break. It's easy to get emotional over a photo we took and then we end up polishing a turd. It's always good to create that distance to "reset" our eyes.

I notice myself that I tend to go way too vibrant with the colors, but even though I notice it, I have problems to create a more flater/subtle look. I tried to learn so many thing about color theory and even though I know more stuff about it now, I still like the more saturated look... Maybe also because I haven't found a flat look that I like more than that.

Maybe you just digg more vibrant styles? Imo create whatever you think looks good and comes from your imagination and heart ☺️
