Go to Africa, you won't see many, if any light skins. "light skin" is having a lighter complexion that comes from having less melanin that comes from having European DNA.

A lot of lightskins are considered black but it's almost guaranteed that the reason they look the way they do is due to having European DNA as well as African, whether it's majority white or majority black. Society deems lightskins black, but that dosent mean that they are genetically fully black

SPizzle I'm pretty sure that most black people are not fully black. With the melanin thing, it really depends on what genetics you get that determine how much melanin you get. I'm dark skinned and my sister is light and our mom is black and Italian and she is not dark skinned but our father is. My point is you don't need to be light skinned to have European DNA or more because of your light skin. At this point having more or less melanin is by chance.
