This is a review of a lighter weight AR-10 in 6 mm Creedmoor. Smoke composites,DNA , Proof, JP and Lancer Carbon fiber make this a nice choice.

Dang it… now I need a 6 creed gas gun 😢 Good review, Ray! I’ve had my suppressors work loose so many times that I’ve started using vibratite and just not removing suppressors at all until it’s time to clean.
@Lethal_Intent9 сағат бұрын
Be careful with that seen many customers effectively weld on from rust and ruin a barrel as a suppressor is a giant moisture trap. Especially coming in and out of different temperatures. In europe, most guns are direct thread with no issues, with them being hand tight, use a thicker grease, and it'll hold itself in place for the hunt or range day.

Get a quick release adapter.. you'll never get 1 MOA from it anyway... LOL

Why just a weak 6 mm Creedmoor when you can buy from me one of my AR 10 uppers I build and sell in 6mm-284 Win or I have now I have one AR 10 upper for sale in 250 Savage and another for sale in in the light model AR 10 upper in 300 WSM. The AR 10 upper in 250 Savage is a 24 inch Pac Nor SS super match in 1-10 polygonal rifling for shooting bullet 100 grains and heaver and as it is now it shoot @ 100-yard 1/2 MOA or less depending on brand of bullet and types of powders. Or you can check in with me for all the noncommercial chamberings in AR 10 uppers I build and sell. If you or anyone else would like to have their own AR 10 upper in any of the WSM magnums or WSM magnums in 25-300 WSM or 6.5-300 WSM I offer these also with a price of $1800. prices are from $1500 to $2000 and the barrels are Pac Nor barreling stainless steel super match barrels and some use the polygonal rifling or R5 rifling. All of the WSM magnum uppers come in 25.5 inch barrels and can be done on the light model or heavy barrel model.

If there is a way to smooth the gimble and slow it down with the tracking. I don't know anything about them but it seems it's tracking a single point, resulting in the constant movement. I'd hope there would be a setting to make it keep the subject in a box. That way you can bend down or move a little without the jerk of the gimble. Not a negative comment by any means. Loving the content. Found you recently and soaking up what I can about long range. Keep up the good work.

You have your head filled with barrel burn out nonsense. I build and sell custom rifles and AR 10 uppers for sale with one wildcat cartridge is use is the 6mm-284 win that use a 30-06 powder type and same charge of powered and for the long action version is the 6mm-06. Never after some 2000 + rounds of ammo gone through these rifles of this cartridge never has a barrel burned out or changed in accuracy. Barrel burn out only accurse in competitive shooting when shooting thousands of rounds of ammo over and over in a week on per month then the barrels get hot not from someone hunting and shooting coyotes or plinking at targets. The next to consider is the type and brand of barrels which some of better or worse than others in quality. These carbon fiber wrap barrels that is all the fad now gunsmiths are telling me 9 out of 10 of these barrels are complete junk. I also build and sell AR 15 uppers in 17 Remington so knuckle heads say that will burn out a barrel on 100 rounds - WRONG ! they go and go for thousands of rounds of ammo shot through the barrels

I got the savage msr10 precision model in 6.5 creed. Man I've only taken it to 1100 yards . It's a gas gun and by far my most accurate rifle. Insanity and shoot like a .556
@LRRPFco5217 сағат бұрын
The MSR-10 is one of the best-designed and built mid-frames on the market. The adjustable gas, gas tube flange seal with nut, fluted barrel, flange-fit handguard to upper, chromed bolt carrier with forged gas tower, dual ejectors, sprung firing pin, 2-stage trigger, and smaller receiver set make it really cool. Feels like a medium-heavy barrel AR-15.

I am sure you are talking the KZbin groupie parrot mouth talker's fad of shooting this nonsense 1000 + yard fad and if you stood on a street corner of a long strait street then asked to point to 1000 yards you would claim 2 city blocks is 1000 yards. Shooting to 1000 yards is not some easy thing to do and takes Highly specialized rifle and ammo and optics and even seeing a target at 1000 yards isn't that easy as I have used a Leupold 1400-yard capable range finder to see what 1000 yards looks like. I have looked at a 4'x8' target through the Leupold 6.5x20 power scope and that target looks like a postage stamp size on 20 power, then the Rare Brevex Mauser in 8 mm-378 Wby mag the scope is on when I shot at the target a small number of bullets hitting the target was scattered all over the target, proving it isn't worth wasting the ammo on such nonsense.
@ScorpioSin77718 сағат бұрын
Scope and all fasteners torqued? It might just need a different ammo/bullet weight. Some rifles are finicky as I am sure you know… I have also had some weapons that needed to be broken in. Looks like you got it though.

Merry Christmas Ray. Question… barrel nut torque. Do you notice any change in accuracy with different torque specs?
@XRING18 сағат бұрын
Hey Richard, great question. So, I learned a long time ago that there was some exhaustive testing done with regards to accuracy and barrel nut torque on the 15. I was told the happy number was 42 ft. lbs. Not sure if that changes with the 10 platform.

@LRRPFco5216 сағат бұрын
@@richardskibo6552If you have a good barrel, you need to bed it into the upper. You also need to ensure your receiver face is square. Gas block needs to be bedded to the journal, preferably press-fit. Gas tube mustn't clip the carrier key. I've seen really high-end builds with billet receiver sets and Krieger pipes that wouldn't shoot until I bedded them. 1.7" 5rd before, .6" 5rd after, same load. Wilsons have been hit and miss lately, but if the barrel can rattle around in there, you won't have consistent repeatable shot placement. AR-10s also require very solid fundamentals with excellent position build-up, not free-recoiled.
