To echo what others are saying, your videos are simply awesome. They are simple and straightforward and addressed the right amount of contents and context for each video. I like how you broke them up into small chunks so that I won't fall asleep watching a 30 minutes compressed and overwhelming video. I also like the recaps at the end of your videos... nice touch.

Hey, so am struggling with the gaps. I am in a situation where I am trying to record fitness videos. We are adding transitions and have found that anytime a gap is created (for example adding a dissolve transition, then trying to remove that transition) and then that gap is removed the audio goes completely out of sync for the video. Worded another way: I have gap, I close the gap and then audio is not longer synchronized with me talking in the videos.

I have gone through all your lightworks tutorials - they are great! Thank you for your excellent explanations. I have the following problem - after I have imported for example an mp3 Audio file I recorded and video films taken with my camera (with 25 fps) and after I have put all together with effects and everything is synchron - it is no longer after I have exported the video with 25 fps and youtoube chosen. Could you tell me how I can solve this? The music starts earlier (around 1 - 2 seconds) after the export.

Hello! I have exactly the same problem... And I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Do you already have a solution for this?
@arianemusic57634 жыл бұрын
@@lizec1897 Unfortunately not - it is trying by trial and error - sometimes for many many times until it is synchronous after the export - it is sometimes VERY frustrating and takes a long time.

Thanks for your tutorial. I was looking to see if you explained about moving clips without having to individually move them, and you did however the process involved in making an in point and an out is very cumbersome and slow compared to selecting and moving like most other editor's do. I find it quite unfortunate that Lightworks chooses to go this route. Nonetheless is a very good Basic free editor.

Thank you for these tutorials, they have been very helpful. One problem that I have encountered that I have not found a tutorial for, yet, is my audio goes out of sink with my video. At the beginning, it seems fine, but by the end it is way off. I don't know if I did something, or if it can be fixed. Have you ever had that issue? Do you know if it can be fixed? If so, can you do a tutorial? Thanks.
@techismad7 жыл бұрын
Yup, this can drive you insane! Could you give some details? What did you film on, and is the sound recorded by the same device that recorded the video? It theoretically can be fixed, but we need to figure out the problem first!

@techismad6 жыл бұрын
Who Knows - this can be so confusing. When the audio is in your timeline, click on the Audio tab at the top. Now check each audio track. Under each Audio track you will see a round dial. This is the pan (left and right) control of your audio tracks. The music track that you mentioned can be put in the centre by turning the pan dial until it’s pointing up towards 12 o’clock.

Do you mean zoom into a part of the screen? You can do that with a 2D DVE - put it on a clip and then change the Scale settings. You can then control place you zoom into using the Position X and Y settings.

As a new content creator I've been wanting to start making videos as well as live streams, you easily have the very best lightworks tutorials I've been able to find. Any advice on the voice over feature? When I was playing around in Lightworks the other day I noticed it and it could be useful for me in making game guides and such.
@techismad7 жыл бұрын
To be honest I've never seen this feature. Let me check it out and see if I can make a tutorial.
@Dracholos7 жыл бұрын
I played around with it myself today for my first ever video and it seems really easy, Kinda fell in love with it actually. It's great because my desk is small, meaning when i record clips of my game you can hear my mouse clicks etc as my keyboard and that are right next to my mic, with the voice over feature I was able to place the video on the timeline without audio as you demonstrated and then once I'd placed my backing music and lowered the volume I could just record my narration as the video played. It's great for someone like me who works better adlibbing rather than from a script.
@samcaldbick51437 жыл бұрын
I'm having difficulties with the voice over feature. I used it with the video playing so that I could make sure that what I was saying was timed correctly with the video. However, after recording the voice-over, when I reviewed both the video and audio together, the audio was much shorter and ended much earlier than the video. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, any advice on how to get Lightworks 14 to work faster on my computer? The audio and video can both be quite choppy going frame to frame. Yesterday, I cleared 50Gb from my hard drive, which helped a little, but Lightworks is still not working at a reasonable speed for me.
@Dracholos7 жыл бұрын
To speed up your computer I would recommend downloading and running Ccleaner, yes with two c's, it gets rid of all the crap on your HD such as left over bits of data from deleted files and such. It's a go to for me. As far as the voice over goes I would say to check your audio recording level. When I record a voiceover i have a box that has the record button on it, a drop down menu for my mic selection and an audio level checking bar thing, you know what i mean right? Check that it's picking up audio at a decent level (the green bar thing will move as you talk, i know, my technical terms are on point today). I believe if it doesn't pick anything up for a set time it will end the recording automatically. Although personally I've not had any issues with it yet.
