Relatively new on my walk with the Lord. Ive been saved for almost 8 years. But the early years were like falling up a flight of stairs. I was a heroine addict before being saved. So just finding Jesus and getting away from the darkness was incredible. Ive been maturing as a Christian... a slow process of sanctification for me 😆 about a month ago though Jesus saved me again. I wasn't doing anything crazy like heroine or running with a gang 😂 But i wasn't doing anything... Luke warm for sure... Jesus lit that fire again. I can't get enough of the word and have been going HARD in seeking Him. I found RC Sproul about three weeks ago and this man is anointed and truly had a gift of teaching. When i saw the picture of RC I thought to myself "I doubt this is my type of sermon" man was i wrong. I have been brought to tears multiple times. I have also been deeply blessed by these sermons. My marriage has been blessed as well. I am grateful for RC and more so that the Lord threw His teachings on my journey.

One of the many forever remembered Sermons I have heard in my life. A million reasons for God to be angry with us. Never be angry with God. Don’t confuse Justice and Mercy. We can never presume upon Mercy. Let God be God. Be delighted with His Mercy. If you get Justice, you deserved it. Amen Preacher Teacher Sproul. ♥️✝️🙏

The point about reciprocation of feasts reminds me of wedding presents these days - you’re expected at least to cover the cost of having you there - so it’s not a gift at all, it’s the price of admission

It shows how spiritually blind the Pharisees were that they should sieze upon the issue of Yeshua healing people on the sabbath as being blasphemous. Who else healed ANYONE? Surely only the Messiah could have healed people. It was pure jealousy, because they wanted to be the center of attention.

I never got parables, until the 1st minute this person talked, It opened up for me to approach the bible in a different way. Specially I didn't get the healing on the sabbath part. I guess what I would get from the sabbath parable is love. Probably because amongst all the rules that were given to us, he then contradicts the rule which is the sabbath by demonstrating his mercy. Mercy wins over judgement. Even says on the bible James 2:13 For judgement is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgement.
