I’m from the South, particularly NEW ORLEANS and we did/do not feel no type of way about Kendrick performing. We love Kendrick! It’s more about Wayne and Jayz/NFL! Also, I/We can overstand why Wayne may not have been selected because honestly speaking his biggest songs aren’t friendly/clean enough to rap on the SUPER BOWL stage and it is about money/sponsorship so it would be a better business decision to pick Kendrick right now! In the end, some things just line up perfectly and since the NFL is picking hip hop acts to perform and Dr Dre (Legacy artist) put on for LA, it would’ve been cool to let Wayne and friends perform in New Orleans! He is TECHNICALLY by all important metrics the greatest rapper ever and I’m saying that as a Nas fan! It would’ve been a great way to honor Wayne for carrying hip hop during his run and being the legend he has been! Let’s not forget who has a lot of children/sons out here! But it’s the Super Bowl and not a hip hop show in New Orleans so it’s all good
