I might be wrong here but I believe when said "bloody red times 5 that is a stop sign", traffic cops use their hand to signal stop. in normal life when you need someone to stop, you put your hand in front of their face. So bloody red times 5 = all 5 fingers are red and the dude he killed is dead, so he STOPPED living. I might be reaching tho.

I think you’re supposed to pause for five seconds at stop signs. People had ways to make sure it’s full seconds or not counting too fast so I’d guess “Bloody red x five” might be a way to pause like we used to do it “One Mississippi, two Mississippi”. I could be totally wrong.

Agree, I was not feeling this EP either . But I think it’s less about him being overrated and more about him falling off. The original DMX/Ruff Ryders stuff he did was classic but, as he became more famous, he started over-producing and injecting himself into songs too much
