Very eye opening! I'm a pharmacist so I have some insight into health and medicine but up until now, I've written off the organic movement as belonging to the overzealous. I suppose I trusted the FDA to regulate the safety of our food and products. As I got older, I've started to notice how much politics and capitalism affects our country to the detriment of consumers and citizens, and I can now see how many things discussed here makes sense. I think Dr. Jay's conclusion is right on- we have advanced very much, both in the good and the bad, and it makes me think i need to educate myself more and make some changes for myself and my family's sake. Thank you for this episode!

In Germany we have Stifftung Warentest. It is a company which tests consumer goods, from food, to cleaning agents, car seats, to electronics and then publishes their finding into a monthly magazine. In 2024 the company became independent from the German state and it is funded by people who read their magazine. I can say that germans have a really high opinion about it and until now all the products which I bought and were recommended by Stifftung Warentest were exellent products.

Could you rename the video? This interview was fire and needs to go viral! Many times people speak about plastics being bad for the environment, and too often conservatives will write them off about being hippies/tree huggers/nature worshippers. Making it clear this affects OUR families fertility is powerful. Now and for generations to come (or lack thereof)!

Love Dr. Jay! He is such a blessing to those who are looking for answers. I highly recommend investing in a genetic consult with him. I had one in July and my husband has one coming up in September. Although there are many things that pertain to everyone, finding out what is specific to you is even more helpful to your health. Furthermore, instead of taking an alarmist approach, he calmly explains what to avoid in order to work with the genes God has given you.

We need the FDA to be separated. Two different companies and shouldn’t be able to fund each other. We need to put them against each other then maybe they would be honest. This is so disappointing and overwhelming. We need leaders that want to help us! Thanks for this conversation

Hi again! Plus, I need to know what kind of carbs you’re talking j I said, I eat fruit. Not pastries etc. I drink filtered water with the Berkey water filter. I understand the plastics are OK if they’re in the refrigerator in the freezer and when you heat them that’s when they leach is that correct? So I wrap my food in paper towels and stick them in the plastic bags in the freezer is that OK? I never make them hot in the plastic bags. I do not cook in plastic in the microwave, nor do I cook very much at all in the microwave. Just to heat up occasionally on a paper plate. These are important details, and you can’t just generalize. I can’t eat eggs because I am older, and I also have some food problems because I have RA. No dairy too. So I’m very careful and I eat protein in chicken and I get it at good ranchers. And I eat no salt chicken breast from boars head which I don’t think it’s terrible. I eat, salmon, I eat, arctic char. I usually get it at Whole Foods… Frozen and pure. I have eaten occasional oatmeal that’s organic. I have eaten organic quinoa and I have eaten organic buckwheat. I don’t think that’s a problem. I don’t eat a ton but they’re good to have occasionally as well. Do you have any other suggestions or am I right or wrong in some of the stuff? I would really like your input because it’s affecting my lifestyle and my health of course because I’m older and sick so this is important for me and my daughter and grandkids are definitely paying attention as well. THANK YOU!!!! 🧡🙏

Im currently dealing with home water quality with our well. I have been looking into different filter types and their uses. The website sited doesn't have information on the catalytic chemical filters, good or bad. Is that a oversite or purposeful or something else? There just isn't a lot of non hippie dippie information on water quality or how to information. I asked ChatGPT but i trust that as far as I can throw it. One thing thats important to remember is that "organic" is not a regulated term in the USA. It can mean anything marketing executives want.

A word of caution…don’t let this podcast scare you into living in a closet. The doctor makes some good points, but we must be reasonable and realistic. Yes, cut down on sugar and eat more vegetables and lean meats. On the water front, I’d argue just drinking more tap water and less soda or sugary drinks would help most people.

What are the carbs you’re talking about? Are you talking about pastries and say what are you talking about? Because good carbs I think are fruits on tonight? I eat fruit and I eat protein in the morning and I don’t need carbs much either, but I don’t know what kind of carbs you’re talking about because I do a fruit. Please clarify that because in general, when you say these terms, everybody understands them differently, so that would be very helpful and I would really appreciate that.
