Baraggan is a tragic and sad character, in fact he ruled himself in Hueco Mundo as King, and one day Aizen came and took everything from him, The funniest thing about it is that Barragan has the power to kill anyone but Aizen Zanpakutō's shoe shows a different league of power, he can practically do anything, and you won't know if it's reality or illusion, and then there's Starrk and his true skill, the wolves, this skill is really powerful and spectacular, although my favorite Zanpakutō skill will be shown at the end of the episode, Rip King of Hueco Mundo and have a nice night from Pitou :3

he also didnt fight seriously untill ge got fataly wounded by shunsuis backstab. kinda sad how kubo gave the top espada some serious flaws to balance out their broken powers. like hallibel being inconsistent in her strength, starrk having a personality that makes him hold back untill its too late and yammy not being able to controll his power very well. if the espada were written like the sternritter in the final arc you can bet theyd have killed multiple captains like its nothing. especially espada 0 through 3.

If your smarter (strategic) or even lucky ( luck can make u win against the strongest foe if the latter makes a mistake) u can win even if ur weaker than ur opponent. Look at Rukia winning against Number 9 espada just cause he was arrogant af.Then again Shunsui is one of the strongest in the series. They were top Espadas but they were not flawless. And thats how u win when ur weaker in power. Kubo did well.

Barragan is also one of the only characters that Aizen preemptively showed Kyoka Suigetsu to. He knew that he could defeat Barragan but it wouldnt be that easy seeing as barragan is barragan. Aizen knew that Barragan would be far more useful as an ally then someone he would have to actually try to fight and win against.

Hougyouku is the easiest and fastest way and is higher than that for spiritual pressure growth to go against *ahem* And it isn't far fetched, we always thought the abilities can be fantasy, but not far fetched like Soi Fon literally has a nuke missile for a bankai, keeping the theme of Insta kill Aizen is deceit, what else would be deceit that can be further evolved when his Shikai alr embodies mostly that covers the whole concept of deceit, full on hallucination / reality alteration. If you want a nerf version of reality alteration, it be basically Vanessa from BC where she can deny death to herself or anyone she cares about, but at the cost of huge mana consumption

Aizen's Shikai is the ability to control the regions of the brain that are responsible for the 5 human senses. But his Bankai would expand that control to all the regions of the brain, meaning he would be able to alter memory, personality, the 5 senses, etc. I think is a cool possibility fitting for Aizen.

Shunsui was going to use bankai against him, keep in mind Shunsui is likely one of the strongest captains, and is probably stronger than most in just shikai alone, stark then fought ukitake aswell for a bit and then two shikai hollow mask vizard captains and after all that Stark was taken down with a surpise attack. Stark is definitely extremely strong and if he tried harder in the fight and had more of a killer instinct he would have done much better.
