I have been following this band for months now.. They are amazing That voice Is a pure Gift!!!!! Such an iconic song by Janis. Great video of her filmed by a German Tv station in the late 60s in Frankfurt that you'll find on KZbin. Actually there were two shows that night. The first for the audience, the second for tv, but she spoofed them by inviting the audience on stage. Great show.

Just discovered this band about a week ago. I had to listen to them shred Crazy Train twice, right out the box. Had to make sure my ears weren't lying to me. I am an older musician. This family band here is the "Baddest Ass Band" I have seen since Van Halen Live in 79. In Alexanderia La. The next week they opened up for the STONES at the SUPERDOME. They blew the Stones away, if they put on the same show they put on for us airmen. Stay safe youngsters and i predict you can be as big as anyone ever!

Liliac haș 'sick' talent, the guitar is exceptional, the drums are amazing, the bass guitar is fantastic, and Melody's voice is out of this world. For a teenage band, this is amazing anyway - but their sound, their original songs as well as their covers can compete with the best of the best (and I am talking about the 80's stars...). On top of that, Melody is the most amazing entertainer on stage, and her music videos are captivating. Through their music, rock/metal of the past has been resuscitated. I would love to see them one live at Wacken Open Air, that would be a dream ! I wish them all the best, they deserve the best only.

How did I miss this!! These siblings are awesome! Sam- lead guitar- 20 yrs old, Abigail (Aby)- drums - 20, Melody - vocals - guitar - 17, Ethan - bass guitar - 13, and Justine - keyboards - 12. Their parents are from Romania, 15 miles from Dracula's castle. They met while going to school in California. They have 6 originals in their first CD and are getting ready to release a second. This is not only siblings playing together. They are true professional musicians and will be heard of many more in the future. Their covers are great, but their own songs are better. I recommend you to listen to Not Afraid or Dancing in the Dark from their first album Chain of Thorns. Great stuff! 👍👍 They will soon release their second album named Queen of Hearts.

Bert Some people simply either have the voice to do it or is just good at impersonations. The Liliac vocalist has the voice. Unfortunately, she used it too well, making this not a true cover.

Just seems I keep seeing people wanting to compare someone to her and that can't be replicated Cyndi Lauper covered Joni Mitchell's song, Carey and slayed it at a benefit on Joni's behalf, but no one would ever compare that to her being Joni. Now you're making a claim that is irrelevant to what you previously said, which is what I replied to. The fact is... it IS possible to sound like another, even if the person attempting it doesn't have the voice or isn't good at impersonations. Comparing... is different. It's not always a similarity of the vocalists of two or more groups/singers. It can be partly a vocals comparison. Too many simply don't realize what's really true and make claims that are false. A true cover involves making it your own, somehow. Liliac is a great group. I like The Warning's originals better than their covers, but like Liliac better than The Warning. People seem to be comparing these two groups, and the comparison is relevant. Neither is trying to be like the other, but they are a relevant comparison. Your claim that people just want to compare Liliac's Janis cover to Janis is relevant as well. The Liliac vocalist does sound like Janis for the entire song. That's exactly why I still like Liliac, but I'm not really liking this cover much. That is, despite the fact that I do NOT like Janis, but kinda like some of her songs.

I do NOT like Janis, but like some of her songs. I kinda like this one. A reasonable comparison... I like The Warning's originals better than their covers, but like Liliac better than The Warning. However... this cover, is not a true cover. The Liliac vocalist sounds WAY too much like Janis.

Brian Joslyn I love both bands but when you see them perform live, Liliac is way behind The Warning. The rhythm section of the Warning alone puts them head and shoulders above. Melody is the real standout in Liliac however. She’s a beast

I didn't comment for a debate or for others to complain because my preference doesn't match their claims. Despite the fact, and again - strictly my preference, I can clearly see, and hear, simply from videos of both groups, that Liliac is not "way behind" The Warning. Yet again, not a claim. Strictly my preference. This is simply the first cover done by Liliac that I don't like (much) because the vocalist sung way too similarly to Janis Joplin.
