I feel like a lot of people miss how heavy Amity’s fear of rejection is-it’s more than just worrying your crush won’t like you back. It’s the whole idea of rejection as a whole. Think about it-she clearly doesn’t have a great relationship with her family, even if her siblings are patching things up now it’s still irreversible damage to her mental health and sense of self. To me this scene shows that Amity is afraid that she’s not lovable.

Emperor Belos is such a great villain and if you thought he was creepy or really evil in this season just wait for season 2 cause holy shit he’s even better in that season. The thing about Lilith cursing Eda is, she genuinely didn't intend any harm. Imagine if you were about to race someone, and you untied their shoes to trip them, but they accidentally hit their neck and are now paralyzed. And as a result you dedicate your life to trying to fix it. And as for her cheating in the first place, we literally had Eda bragging about how good at cheating she was in episode 17. So I think it was perfectly fair of Lilith to cheat against a cheater.

Alright so, the dance scene in in Enchanting Grom Fright and the fight animation in Agony of a Witch was done by Spencer Wan who was responsible for a lot of the smoother animations throughout season one. Speaking of that dance scene, the music for that is top tier. I love that they really doubled down on Amity's crush on Luz in Wing it Like Witches. I think my biggest problem with any forgiveness or redemption for Lilith is not that she cursed Eda in the first place. She was a kid and only thought it would be for a day. So, okay, sure, a mistake was made. My problem lies with everything Lilith did as an adult. She constantly made fun of Eda for her curse and way of life, and then attempted to murder Luz to get Eda to succumb to that curse "for her own good." I get that she was trying to save Eda in a way, but it still rubs me the wrong way. And this is coming from someone who likes Lilith. It was revealed in an AMA that Lilith dyes her hair blue to look more intimidating. Also, that her and Eda are in their mid forties with Lilith being the older sister by two years.

In my opinion, Lilith is still one of my favorite characters even after her betrayal toward Eda. Mainly because I like characters who have dark secrets, and has some flaws. Her actions and character arc gives her more layers and makes her more human. And not a one dimensional character.

I have the same feelings about Lilith. Even though she got better and didn’t mean for the curse to affect Eda the way it did, it would take time to forgive her, especially when you realize the levels the curse affected Eda. Not many people realize/remember this but Eda is the younger sister. The curse is aging her (killing her slowly), so not only did it take away her magic but it’s draining her life force. Lilith basically cursed Edalyn with a death sentence.

And now, he's been the Emperor for over 50 years, meaning that the people born into the system (for example, Lilith) have had his teachings ingrained into them from a very young age.

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES!! I have been waiting for you to react to these episodes they have my favorites of the series (these four and episode 15) just everything was PHENOMENAL and trust me, the trauma has only begun it's going to get crazy! I also got say at 6:47 why was that me they got insanely close both there and during the dance, when I first saw that episode I was legit squealing of happiness they are ADORABLE. I also love at 12:18 Amity is still a savage but now she's standing up for Willow, also you probably already know but that picture was of Eda and Lilith. At 15:24 Amity is legit Gay panicking and I AM HERE FOR IT, this whole episode was of Amity Gay panicking (and they did confirm her as a Lesbian) I also love how clueless Luz is in these episodes. And at 20:30 of course the Golden Snitch- I mean the Rusty Smidge, and at 21:10 one of the most iconic lines "Oh. Wow. Sports". And I know Hooty is annoying sometimes but I can't tell you how much I love him I mean at 23:04 and 24:48 he is a GREAT body guard like hello?! At 28:55 this is where the fight begins and one of the best fights in the series and maybe in the whole world it is just FANTASTIC and so smooth but also one of the biggest twists like what in the world Lilith, also I just have to say at 29:45 this is one of the best quotes that I've heard in an animated series it's so powerful and just so good. And let me just say when I was watching it for the first time I was tearing up at 35:18 why is this Disney show so heartbreaking, and dude at 39:48 sure dude just keep thinking that I mean it's true but... I also have to say Lilith at the end I mean yeah she should have done it earlier but it was still beautiful and you can tell she definitely saw that what she did was wrong! This has honestly been a really amazing show. I've seen the art and stuff for it but never got into it. I'm glad I can have Sundays to watch with Krystalogy. Also, if/when you are done with this show and need another Sunday show to replace, there's a cute cartoon show called Dead End: Paranormal Park. Basically, the main characters work at an amusement park that's haunted. It's a mixture between Gravity Falls and Steven Universe both art and story-telling.

This is where sh*t gets real. It was a clip from Agony of a Witch that convinced me to try this show. Oh, and while Hooty may be annoying, NEVER underestimate the bird worm. He's VERY strong. Also this is actually less horrifying than pilot Hooty. The Titan is the giant corpse that makes up the isles. From its remains, their ancestors emerged. It is their home. It is their dead creator.
