How often do you shampoo if you're just wearing a protective style (using my hair only..no weave hair) and not using heavy styling products i.e. gels. I am trying to keep my use of products to a minimum! I have to wear a hat a work..I am a chef... I usually just wear two flat twists..or a low bun..or small twists (not mini-twists). Thanks!

Hi, I am a newbie, I am in search of products that work well with my hair, I had extensions for a while and my daughter talked me into giving my hair a rest from braids, I have been using the Pantone gold line and moisturizing with olive oil and water in a spray bottle in the morning, not enough or argan and olive oil don't mix, anywho, my hair responds to olive oil based products, any advice on what products I can try?
