New subscriber here, little confused. If I wanted to watch you playthrough Limbus Company I'd need to subscribe to see the VODs? (I have a hard time with Livestreams) Or would I be able to just wait and treat it as a delayed upload schedule?
@Trailblazer_Ririna10 ай бұрын
The first-time gameplay VOD for Limbus Company will be made available to the public eventually (so delayed upload schedule). It's just that becoming a paid subscriber will give you early access to that VOD (usually a week in advance). If I continue playing Limbus Company after that, then the VODs for those livestreams will only be available to Huge Fox Bite Subscribers! ^^

So note, KZbin has a tendency to auto flag videos with Mili songs. This is not Mili's doing, and if you contest the claim, generally they will let it expire so you will get monetization back. At least it happens during PM game playthroughs. Idk if they let claims expire on music reviews. Also apparently the end credits have been getting people flagged now as well, and I've heard that some people have had their contests denied for them. Its unfortunate, but you may want to mute the stream/vods during the end credits of a chapter, if you care about monetization. Still listen to the end credits, because they are all fantastic, but you may want to keep chat from being able to hear them.
@Trailblazer_Ririna10 ай бұрын
Thank you for letting me know! I don't have monetization on for this video (nor will I turn it on) because I like having my viewers be able to hear the music. So I most likely won't have monetization on for the streams/VODs as well so that everyone can listen to the audio for the end credits of a chapter. Plus, in all honesty, YT doesn't give much ad revenue anyways, so it's not worth turning it on in my opinion. Paid subs on Discord and Ko-Fi are more reliable in that sense. :D

Mili has the little storytelling quirk that the lyrics in their songs are written in a specific way so it can have both a meaning inside and outside of context.... like, without trying to spoil things, there is a song for the prequel to limbus with lyrics that both talk about existential horror in-context... but about toxic relationships out-of-context and indeed both interpretations are correct some of their song you could even say there is a 3rd official interpretation, the artist's one... but usually is just the ones in and out of context also, just a little insight for In Hell We Live: the two voices are supposed to be sung by the same person, but one is the past self of the singer and the other, the future self...
@Trailblazer_Ririna10 ай бұрын
That's really nice that they do that! It makes it even harder to guess what exactly they mean in the lyrics because we're never certain which meaning it can hold, unless you have context!

I love this like, 'perverse' feeling that the second song, Between two Worlds has. It is by all means a song that speaks of the mind of the character that protagonizes the chapter it appears on, before being ripped and taken control by the person that has ruined his life, his mind, his moment of glory and even his song. Looking forward to the limbus stream :)

In hell we live lament is practically Dante’s theme in a way. It has alot of lyrics that compares the city to hell and in the story Dante travels throughout the city hearing about how great some wings and things are and learning the dark truth behind all of it not to mention the part about “someone’s heaven could be the source of my torment” really hits hard cause the city is the heads heaven and humanities heaven(this you will learn later when more about the outskirts are revealed) yet it is hell for many and many suffer and die painfully in the streets of the city

My favorite has to be Compass, but I like all of them. Every time I reached the boss fights and the songs began playing, I got goosebumps. Every single time. The story, the voice acting, the music and even the sound design wraps around themselves so nicely it enhances the sum of all parts. Also, Ive heard you were planning to take a stab at Lobcorp? If you do, you have guts, its not an easy mountain to climb. I'll cheer you on, of that is the case.

Although I don't know if I'll be able to get through it in the end (after the first time) since... I'm... well, not good at gaming in general. I only started playing games... a couple of years ago? On and off? XD haha Depending on the gameplay style though, I may enjoy the struggle or absolutely stress a bit too much over having to repeat rounds. I'm honestly hoping that it'll be the former, but I guess we'll see. I've only recently learned that tower defense struggles are not my thing, but who knows... Maybe this Lobcorp will change my mind and help me to learn to enjoy the struggles in other types of difficult games.
