This Niv is absolutely beautiful. It has a powerful presence. Wherever you put it down, immediately upon walking away from it, it drags you back, and compels you to keep reading. The Word in this edition envelopes and fascinates. My only gripe is the delicacy of the paper and finding gold specks on my hand when handling the book over a period of time.

Hey Tim, I love your channel…very informative….quick question…does the end sheets on this Bible in the front and back separate? I’m just curious because I just received my copy and the black side of the end sheet separates from the other side(white) of the sheet. They are only partly glued together about one quarter from the seam. Not sure If this is a defect or that’s how this is made? Thanks again for your informative channel!

This is a Rainbow LX imitation leather liner. The makers of this Bible said this and that it was a sturdy type of imitation leather. Do you know how long this would hold up or a guesstimate?

So the artist edition just refers to the imprinting in the cover? (It kinda makes it sound like it has other art work!?). What's the paper thickness?

Correct, it is only in reference to the cover. Paper is generally 30gsm on non premium bibles from Zondervan and Thomas Nelson.
