I grew up listening to Limp Bizkit, no matter how much shit other people give them, they're still the defining band of my childhood and will always be.

I remember year 2001 and fantastic summer. Auntie bought for us CD - Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water. I haven't got an idea that after 2 years peace will be destroyed by the deaths of my loved ones. I remember the smell and aura of these days. Freedom and Happiness. Hold on, My Way, It'll Be OK - these songs always bring me memories of those peaceful and beautiful days as a teenager. Today I am 38.

The good old days when people socialized like human beings, and relationships didn't develop virtually and fail just as fast. Now, there is no rock in the mainstream anymore. Just watered down glitzy pop rap and pop country. It's sad. I like this band and those that hate them mostly only do because of the whole thing involving woodstock and the media backlash. I even liked Results may Vary. I thought it was a much deeper album for most part than they ever did. This song is sad and I relate to it

Lyrics: Down in a hole there are so many ways To find yourself some light It's always the miracles Keep waiting all you like Ain't got no time to waste I know the end is near And if I run away I'll always end up here Walking away From the things I adore Telling the truth For once I'm sure It's always a sign When you feel yourself bleed I'm walking away From all I need I can't escape the tragedy That always brings me down If I could eliminate Those things that make me frown Take all the baggage That follows me around And just disintegrate Burn it to the ground Walking away From the things I adore Telling the truth For once I'm sure It's always a sign When you feel yourself bleed I'm walking away From all I need I'm walking away Yeah! Walking away Yeah, I'm walking away From the things I adore (walking away) Telling the truth For once I'm sure (walking away) It's always a sign When you feel yourself bleed (walking away) I'm walking away From all I need I'm walking away

I was going to hate on this song because I'm not a fan of LB at all, then I read your comment. You are so right. The 90's and early 2000's were a crucial time for heavy music, it's what I grew up on as well. Well said my friend.

This is absolutely true Limp Bizkit. They didn't sell out and try to go pop-electronic like their counterparts Linkin Park did. This is a perfect evolution of the 3 Dollar Bill and even Significant Other line of music.

I really love the band. I understood somehow that they're disturbed in their brain. All of them. And this thing with the rap and the metal the two opposites... I can indentify myself plainly in them. Thank you the Bizkits, it's may be too much, but I think my life wouldn't have been the same without you.

absoloutely awesome job on the edit. and any kids that are saying shit about this band are just way too young to know anything about our generation of music. for us it was the nu metal era, a wonderful time, lots of great rock bands with distinct images and sounds and names, white boys begining to really make noise as rappers. and a crazy blend of rock and rap that plenty of bands messed with. internet was around but nobody seemed to have it. same with cell phones, u had 2 ask 4 girls numbers.

What is all this talk about having to be born in a certain time to be "allowed" to like this music? How could it ever be a bad thing that younger people actually listen to this kind of music? Music is for all, and is not something a certain generation has the right to listen to! But of course, haters gonna hate..
