The theater is his first love so I'm sure he's working on another musical. Hamilton took forever to complete but we got a masterpiece bc Lin took his time.

This was such an honour (and bucket list moment) to be in the room where this interview happened and be part of the group invited to represent the Australian fans of Hamilton! The genius of LMM is mind blowing. And he continues to just grow. Not afraid to push the boundaries of what’s expected , I can’t wait to see what next. I’m so pleased I could share this piece of art with my kids, witness the impact it’s had on the performing arts industry, diversity, inclusion and representation.

What an interesting interview! Lin is always brilliant, and the interviewer did her homework and could surpass the obvious questions we always see other journalists ask. Lin is an endless source of good material, but it takes a good professional to make it into a nice conversation. Kudos to Leigh Sales.

This is just an awesome interview because everyone respect each other, and the interviewer respects, the art that Lin-Manuel Miranda makes. Why can’t all interviews be like that? It’s so much healthier and nicer to see a respectful and chill environment then please talk shows that only want big Carooo 💗 stories 😊

I've watched every LMM interview I can find and this one, by far, was the best. I applauded even more than the audience! As a writer, hearing his process brought tears to my eyes. Knowing the words he writes appear out of nowhere, from places he was never looking, is a writer's dream. What an incredible hour spent with Lin-Manuel Miranda. Thank you!

Like 2 best friends having a chat after being apart for years. Leigh is obviously a fan and channelled the thoughts of the audience and the questions fans wanted asked like a complete professional. I could watch this kind of interaction for hours. Congrats on a brilliant interview.

Phenomenal interview! You really can tell that the interviewer put a lot of effort into her questions and Lin enjoyed sharing his whole thought process with the audience! It's so fun to see how he enjoys sharing his skills and knowledge with others but he also never fails to give credit to all of his inspirations, even if it is just a little jingle.

This has got to be one of the best interviews I have ever seen! Mad Kudos to this interviewer, who not only drew out of Lin new things about Hamilton beyond what he'd shared previously, but who asked important questions that elicited his vivid memories & observations. IMHO, this will stand as a real tool for future artists learning the process of how to put together a modern musical.

I liturally jumped when a advertisement came on and my parents looked like I was crazy. It took me like two month to convice my parents to let me see it and me and my therapist teamed up on my parents. The highlight of the summer and the thing I really needed to get me out of a low moment. I grew up with this show knowing about it but not beeing abel to see it and now I feel like I can die happy.♡

A great interview! After falling in love with the original production of Hamilton and listening to the cast album over and over, I was very unsure about seeing the Australian production. Would the characters be similar? Would the actors' voices match my expectations? I'm so glad I went, though, as it was a great show, if not slightly different to the original. The lyric change from "John Adams doesn't have a real job" to "Vice President isn't a real job" was a clever touch, given that Australians have no clue who John Adams was.

When I watched the show live, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I actually thought Jason Arrow was maybe trying a little too hard to sound like Lin-Manuel Miranda; so hearing him talk about how he only watched it once on Disney+ was very interesting because it means they ended up making very similar creative decisions somewhat coincidentaltly (at least on that night)
