I had a 210 prior this one, this was a really good upgrade. I've been using it for over one year and have no complaints.

I bought one last week and used it today welding in a new fuel tank X-member on my GMC pickup. Thought it was real good and I was very happy with it. Controls very easy to navigate and the overall quality is excellent. They aren't cheap by any means but have a $400 rebate on many machines right now......I preferred Miller in the past but the Lincoln wire drive is better and they have had that for many years.

I was wanting to get the Miller 215 but the Lincoln 215mpi currently has the $400 rebate. So it’s hard to debate the $600 difference for the Miller. What I am wondering though, if I don’t plan on using the tig feature is there any positive to buy the 215 mpi over the mig 211i? The 215 is currently $250 more after the rebate

Thanks for the video. With the improved duty cycle over the 210 this is getting to be a very interesting machine. I wish stick output was a bit closer to 200A but what can you do...

I still really enjoy it. That being said I have not used Stick with this unit. I'll have to try it out, usually use the Miller for that. I assume I will be limited to 5/32 electrode....

Sorry Fleetwood, I mentally responded.....just forgot to send. Greenventure is correct that it is rated for 3/8" single pass, however that does not mean that you can't weld material greater than 3/8" Its just saying that a stringer or fillet shouldn't be larger than 3/8" in thickness. The machine is limited to 0.035" hard wire, I typically would not put a pass in larger than 1/4" with this wire. If you need to weld thicker than that you will have to use multiple stringers/fillets/weaves to reach the desired weld thickness. Hope this helps Cheers!

I have not, I use my ESAB for TIG. One day if I have the cash I will buy the TIG torch for this unit. Thanks for watching

Could you tell me what the regulator gets set at?

I'm going to assume you are using a 75%Ar/25%Co mix (You can get a bottle with this mix). Use between 30 - 40 CFH. If you have any wind in your shop/yard go to the higher end up to 40 CFH. Great Question!

@@lesschattermoresplatter5769 Not to criticize how other people operate but that flow rate would be much to high. Not only would you be wasting half your gas but if the flow rate is to high it can actually draw in air and contaminate your weld. Inside our shop we usually run between 16 to 18 cfm, but no more than is necessary, if there are fans moving air around we may need to go up to 22. Outside is a different story, I'm usually between 20-25 but you have to block even light wind. Gas is pretty expensive these days.

And these machines are really easy, If you know it, you know it, if not put in the thickness of material you’re welding and the process, and it will set itself and then you tweak from there.
