I'm not a Geordie but I always knew about them and thought they were OK. I've recently discovered their gigs in Newcastle from the 70s and 80s and I now think they are fecking brilliant.

Fond memories. Saw this show in Leicester I think it was. But Newcastle was always the big one!

Marvellous! This video contains the wonderful piano intro to 'Run for Home' which I haven't heard on live versions released anywhere...Richard Cladyman.... 04:37....Run for Home what a song - what a fabulous live piece of music. Everyone enjoying themselves.....glad I was there at time (on that tour), albeit not in the Newcastle City Hall. Moving.

I think I saw this tour though not at this particular show. I don't recall the extended piano intro to Run For Home. Great live band.

I went to their Christmas shows at Manchester Apollo, probably 1983 & 84? Brilliant band & great entertainers.
