I was looking for this comment. I had no idea their long history but one of the last interviews, he treaded her horribly, it was utterly shameful. Yet on his Netflix show he interviewed Kim k and he had the audacity to show concern when she began sobbing.

​​@@hakimbandaru1915first of all, that interview wasnt her latest. She had another appearance a year later, in which he clarified his behavior. He does care for her. He is an alcoholic himself and lost the years from 13-34. Hence his stern comments. It was "[tough]fatherly advice". His words. No one likes to hear such words, but they came from a place of love. And lets face it, she had. Track record of not taking things seriously. Probation, AA, social work shehad to do for court, jailtime, restarting her career. A year later they did prank calls with oprah and him.

Yes, i remember being pleasantly surprised by how charismatic she was back then (and most likely still is) because her peers were not. But she could already carry whole movies alone: Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, Herbie. Back when Disney was still normal ;)

As for LETTERMAN, this particular host shows himself as an awful, sadistic, really bad person during the last interview with Lindsay! The humiliation he intentionally put her in is unforgivable and disgusting! Shame on him!
