The baby was Green, and thomas; I hope you saw Lindsay’s Instagram story that was posted 30 minutes ago. And I hope you both feel really good about yourselves. You’ve hurt a really kind, gentle, and amazing human being and performer. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, go look at it. Also, which ever one of you sent this video to her and told her to “look at the comments and see how much people hate you”, YOU are JUST as guilty as the people who said those horrible things about her. I NEVER EVER want to see any of you on my channel again. That is not why I post these videos. To mock and hurt these wonderful performers. Absolutely not. Much love, Wicked Memories.

Lindsay has given nothing but love and kindness to her fans and followers, so I don’t understand how anyone would ever say something mean to purposefully hurt her. Also, I never understood people who judge someone’s performance based off of bootlegs; they are NEVER an accurate representation of what they sound like live. Even so, she still sounds great here, and I was absolutely blown away the multiple times I saw her perform it live. WTF is wrong with people.

You were absolutely right to address this! Thank you so much. Lindsay is an amazing performer, but also a truly kind soul, so gentle and pure. She did not deserve this. Much love, everyone. Remember to always be kind and empathetic. 💖

This is horrendous! 😡😡 I'm a huge lindsay fan and when I heard her defying gravity for the first time I was just blown away from her beautiful and powerful voice and really love her in this role! After seeing this I'm just so disappointed to this people who would do such a thing to a great musical actress! Every bootleg of her makes me happy when I'm sad I'm just so mad at this people! Anyways love your channel thank you for this video! I love it! 😍

Lindsay is so under appreciated as Elphaba. She was EXTRAORDINARY. And had such nuance to her portrayal

Her crack on "Well if that's love" and the point just kills me... She always thought that she was never deserving of love, and then was told that the Wizard - her idol, would love her for who she is and her talents, for it all just becoming a lie! What a choice she made and we were so lucky to have her.

They treated her so unfairly on that show. They tried to portray her as mean and cutthroat, and they had to do so much work to make that look even slightly believable.

So, I’m from the UK and I was in New York on this date. I went to the Gershwin and asked about tickets but due to various reasons I didn’t see the show during my visit. Then Covid happened and I cannot tell you how much I regret that decision to this day! These videos further prove how wrong I was to not see Jenny or Lindsey on this date!! 😢 If you have an opportunity, always take it!

Wicked was my first broadway show. I had wanted to see it for a while. For my birthday i received tickets to this exact date. I almost didnt go bc covid was starting up in the us, but ultimately i still saw the show and broadway closed a week later 😅 But it was absolutely incredible and i wish i retained more from it!! I saw this video and saw the date and just had to double check, this is the exact show i went to :D

I like to call this the “Wicked before we all realised how easy we had it” era. I was so terrified that we’d get an official closing notice post-shutdown. If you want to go see this show, and you have the time, money, opportunity, DO IT. It won’t run forever, sadly, soak up all of its beauty while it’s still here and capturing hearts.. ❤

a better one of Lindsay. A couple notes, still a little shouty and i know this is nit picking but the as someone told me lately shouldn’t be ended like that. However this is definitely one of her best ones, possibly her best overall. a great “take a message back from me .. to flying high defying gravity” i like how she doesn’t riff how i here, when she usually riffs that line it’s like nails on a chalkboard in my opinion. So this one was pretty soothing
@pabutoycalendar50482 жыл бұрын
She does the eden riff at "how i" and she does it very nasally which is why it sounds like that, but I totally agree with your comment

@@thomas965o I see a human girl making her Broadway debut in the biggest role on Broadway, very early in her run, making killer choices, figuring out her show, absolutely bringing the house down, and inspiring tons of little girls and boys with a beautiful portrayal of a character that means so much to many people. That’s what I see here. Be nice.
@antonygoon96942 жыл бұрын

She’s the first African American woman to take on the role full time, and if memory serves me correctly, the first understudy and standby as well! Arguably in my humble opinion one of the best to grace the stage of the Gershwin! Her acting in Thank Goodness is out of this world! And her vocal range?? Don’t even get me started, she keeps everyone from front row to last row of the mezzanine FED!
