Because having to painstakingly draw a different face made every few frames and animate it, plus proper shadowing of facial expressions is extremely difficult and tedious so, for the sake of the creator's&everyone else's sanity, given the insane deadlines given for the creation of the show, I forgive the slight lack of extreme expressions
@Bluey3064 жыл бұрын
cartoons are absolutely capable of being more expressive than real people (one reason why people deride disney's live-action remakes, amongst other reasons) BUT that's the wonderful thing about theatre: being super expressive and making sure it's seen and *felt* is like a huge part of performing onstage. so serious props to stage actors. so much strength and power and thought goes behind their every little movement, particularly when they have to do it almost everyday (depending on the production), live, and they deserve *all* the praise.

Nobody hated on Beauty and the Beast or Lion King when they went to Broadway. So it being Disney isn't the reason. idk who plays hans in this one but they casted him amazingly. this guy puts a totally different look on him. in the movie he seems just like your typical charming handsome man, and it's not that surprising he would be manipulative. i mean, consider past disney villains. this guy though, the way he plays hans as a young man who's ambitious and a little awkward, the youngest of his siblings who's been forced to find a way to make life work. he's only looking out for himself, he was taught that way vicariously by being cast aside next to all of his siblings. not giving him sympathy or saying the actor isn't handsome, my point is that it's a lot more realistic than cookie cutter "handsome guy isn't as nice as he seems"

My beef with the movie is they make him do the in love smile when she's off screen

in the movie, i thought anna was kind of annoying, and she was like the exact same in the musical, but instead of being annoying she was hilarious? i think they kind of added a very teenage-girly feeling to her and it was awesome, seeing her like swoon over hans was so funny for me.

broadway musicals always manage to make annoying characters lovable its insane.
@cocojens54774 жыл бұрын
@@BlueMiaou i know! they made her character a lot more relatable in a sense where she was just an ordinary, awkward teenage girl who happened to be a princess.

i think frozen 2 made anna much more likeable, even though not much had changed. it really showed anna's extreme sense of loyalty and her morality. i think it was just the whole falling in love and marrying a stranger right away that threw everyone off fhshfhd

@@pterocardio I thought she was just as annoying in the second one tbh

I had his happen to me but with Twilight’s Bella. Hated her in the book and movie. 10 Years later I found Bella in the movies way funnier. Still a problematic character but WAY WAY more funny.

fun fact: when Hans and Anna go "you, and i" it's referring only to Anna, showing how one sided the relationship truly was.
