I have never visited Harelaw before the fishery is without doubt fast becoming one of Scotland's favourite venues. An interesting and varied Trout Fishery renowned for its Dry Fly sport. Jock has only limited experience on the water which should negate the home advantage. What transpired was one of the most challenging days I have ever had on the water. So much so Jock and I were the last boat to return to the dock, that's when it got ugly!

Told people for years about Harelaw’s top of the water potential but no one listened. Only a small band of anglers enjoyed the place. There’s alot more to the venue than most know of. A special water with special features and history. Top 3 in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 always will be.

Was on it the week after you, bright sun and flat calm! Just found the cdc that was working for me and instantly got smashed in the same shallows that you finished in and guess what - only one in the box. Now there's a lesson! 😂😂

Fly fishing in Scotland is vastly underrated. A few days on Loch Earn gave good sport with a mix of rainbow, brownies, even a few char absolutely stunning fish. I did not get permission to fish the river but saw some good fish including a good number of both salmon and trout parr. If I manage to get back up to Scotland the site of this vlog will be high on the list of prime waters to fish
