I went through a breakup a few years ago as well. We were together for 7 years and WOW. That was definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through, so watching this took me back to the days where I had to force myself to eat something everyday. Crying everyday for months and months and wondering when the pain was gunna go away. But let me be your proof that time heals. Remind yourself that everything happens for a reason and be patient. All the advice you gave is SO TRUE. Be kind to yourself especially during this hard time. And years later, I still think about my ex and the love we shared but I wouldn’t be the person I am today if we were still together, so hang in there.

I’m going through a break up too of 5 years- since I was 17, I’m 22 now. I realized we were totally different, I had to chose myself and my future, so I broke up with him, things weren’t how they used to be and I outgrew him. It’s incredibly hard even though I did it, I cry everyday and I have severe anxiety because of it. This video helped me a lot because I woke up today feeling so bad. I have nothing but love for him, it’s so hard because he was the only thing I knew, I was so dependent on him. I’m proud of myself I made that decision because a few years ago I couldn’t have, I didn’t have many friends. It’s only been 2 months and it sucks but time will heal and I know it will get better eventually.

You will definitely be okay. It’s great you have this perspective right after your breakup. Also know that it’s okay to feel confused, angry, and hateful towards the situation. That’s all part of the grieving process. Embrace every emotion but don’t dwell on the thoughts that come from them. Feel them in the moment as you are in this video and then release them. It’s our human nature to change and evolve, everyone does it at their own pace and we end up right where we are meant to. When you heal from this you will be a better version of yourself. Oh man this video made me connect with you. I had gone through that multiple times with the same person for a period of 5 years. As someone who has been watching you since the very beginning. I’ve seen both of you grow together . Now i see that you have both grown apart. Which completely ok. Not everyone is meant to stay with us for the long run through our journey. You guys for sure were meant to cross paths to love each other and help each other become the people who you are meant to be.
