I think you just answered a question I've had for awhile. I've had an issue of trying to deform a mesh into a new pose, set the new pose to frame 0. However when you return it to the original pose, the mesh is not the same shape anymore. I'm suspecting this explanation is the reason why. Now to wonder what kind of math is involved in figuring out returning it to the original shape and pose.

Not sure I'm following you. Skin, if initialized at the base pose, will always remain in the same shape you started at in the base pose no matter what weights you use.

Ah, I remember you finally. You are the one who developped the penn's script!

PEN scripts, yes. Which are you asking about?
@shinchin3847 ай бұрын
Just because I feel familiar with the name and the voice in the intro vids , I have been using those scripts for over 10 years like arrows, controllers. Truely appreciate your efforts. Thanks.@@paulneale

I mean your name just recalls some memories like 10 yrs ago when I was using max2013 with pen scripts. Those arrow splines and controller scripts help a lot. Really appreciate of you to develop it.@@paulneale
