8:09 I’d like to add here that rising fair usually isn’t too good of a ledgetrapping tool because it gives up a lot of space, making it really easy for the opponent to roll behind you and reverse the situation. When using fair for a ledgetrap, it’s better to do a full hop fair into fastfall or a short hop drift back fair to cover rolls and burst options. Both of these put you in a better position when they don’t work as well as cover more options.
@arshadalam44574 жыл бұрын
Here’s some more info on ledgetrapping: A lot of times in this video, the Link used a nair on shield when their opponent was cornered, and then immediately followed with a down tilt, f tilt, etc. Though this can work if you are 100% sure the opponent will drop shield, it is not usually a good idea because the opponent can easily jump over you or roll away. In order to keep stage control, consider dashing back, putting you in a better position to cover options, or holding shield so that you can react oos to the opponent’s escape option.
@LxZLink4 жыл бұрын
@@arshadalam4457 I agree with everything you said. :) thank you for your comment. T uses Fair quite a bit when ledgetrapping, but he does have heightened senses.
