About their confusion on the depressed emotion: it literally feels like nothing. It's basically the complete lack emotion (in my perspective). You're not necessarily sad or happy or angry or anything. You're just numb.
@ashleigh_marrrie10 жыл бұрын
Pretty much, yeah. I suffered from severe depression for 4 years after my dad died. Medicines have now helped me recover almost fully, but during those years all I felt was numb and wanting to kill myself. It is morbid, but I used to cut myself just to be able to feel something again. I would have days where I really did FEEL sad, but those were few and far between.

Personal experience has taught me that depression (as in actually being clinically depressed) really anti-feels. You have negative feelings, in the sense that if feeling something is +2, not feeling is -2. So, that was actually a pretty accurate description, Rhett.
@cooldudeusa110 жыл бұрын
honestly who actually dislikes their videos, who does not like the video so much that they feel the need to show their dislike against rhett and link i dont even understand, rhett and link make me so happy every morning of the week
@joeymatthews357610 жыл бұрын
Yeah I never understood the dislike button If you didn't love the video don't like it If you hated it enough to dislike it you should probably stop watching their videos
@toasty400000010 жыл бұрын
its a public expression of opinion. If someone doesnt agree with something rhett and link do, they should be allowed to dislike. Tired or people expressing their "Like this or fuck off" opinions. Yeah, if you dont like something, it would probably be a better use of your time to distance yourself from that thing, but if you feel like it is worth it, you should be able to express your feelings, regardless of if theyre popular or not. I also realize that the dislike button can be used simply to troll someone, people clicking it regardless of the video's content, but that is something we have to live with until a solution is found. People misusing the way other people can express their opinions of dislike is not a valid reason to remove the dislike button.
@cooldudeusa110 жыл бұрын
kakunapod, my comment was just a public expression of opinion, which you were chastising, and i was not talking against those who dislike their videos, i was just saying that i couldn't imagine doing it myself because i love them so much, not only that, but i never talked about thinking that people should not be able to dislike, but if someone did state that, i would imagine you would not rant at them for stating that, considering you so strongly believe in people having a public expression of opinion. Let's not be so hypocritical.
@toasty400000010 жыл бұрын
CooldudeUSA Now Im confused as well. As you have just said, you never talked about many of the things I mentioned, so, how could you form the view that I am "chastising" you AND try to mock me for critiquing you? Surely if very little I said had to do with your comment, you would also agree that very little of it was meant as a critique. Thats very contradictory. Also, even if I had talked explicitly about the things you brought up, is there something wrong with critiquing others? I think you missed the whole point of my comment, the point was that there is *nothing* wrong with critiquing others. I guess you could have just read my comment very poorly.
@toasty400000010 жыл бұрын
I thought I very obviously stated that my problem is with people who have the "Like it or stfu" opinion, very similar to Jake Markham's

As someone who's worked in fast food for 2 years, I personally don't mind when customers check to see if everything is in the bag but it affects the store if it's through a drivethru. Where I work, there is a timer that times how long a person is at the window and after 30 seconds we're put in the "Red Zone" where we can actually lose points that mark our store's grade. So when someone has to count change from their wallet and check everything that's in their bag at the window, it usually comes to about a minute and affects us negatively. Also, I worked at a Tim Hortons and if your order was wrong you could go to a different tim hortons and they have to give it to you free.
@ShogunPip10 жыл бұрын
I used to work at McDonald's, and the drive through people were always screwing up the orders. It's a lot of pressure, yeah, but they were also cheating on their time sheets for the orders and saying the orders were served when really their order had just been "memorized"... INCORRECTLY might I add. I don't know if that's an all McDonald's thing or just my store but... That's why our store was constantly screwing up. Glad I'm out of that place. But anyways, it's totally acceptable to check the bags at the window. That way you don't have to go in and bother the cash register people or anything. You can just let the drive thru people know, and most likely, what's missing is sitting in the heating tray.

I actually stop and park and go order the traditional way instead of ordering at the drive-trough so that I would avoid looking judgemental or delaying the line, cause at the counter they usually put everything in the bag one by one in front of you. Also when the drive-through has a big waiting line, not only that you can actualy get your food faster from the counter, but you also get your muscles moving for at least a few minutes while doing so, which is a good break from sitting in the car constantly.

It's not that people with depression don't feel. Personally, it's a very painful experience that I live with every day. Everything physically hurts. I don't want to move because it feels like my arms and legs have heavy weights tied to them. I don't want to breathe because it feels like my chest is collapsing. It's everywhere at once. There's no escape. The proper treatment, oddly, is quite easy, but VERY hard to get in the US, as is Dental care.

Luiz Nanini Of course you're qualified to say that. It's actually very helpful to say that to people suffering from depression. Mine is controlled with medication and therapy, but for the untreated masses, one of the most effective ways to make sure they don't go and off themselves is to smile, wave, say hi, and make sure they know they matter.

If you wanna check the bag (or the food inside the wrapper) do pull up so you aren't blocking other people from getting their food. Fast food places want to get people through in a certain amount of time and because they try to get people through fast, sometimes someone grabs the wrong sandwich or misses an item on a big order.

LoL, Star Wars, Ep. 3 and Dark Knight Rises??!? Episode 3 came out in 2005 and Dark Knight Rises came out about 7 years later in 2012. So, unless Link saw Dark Knight Rises, then walked through a wormhole in the hallway of the movie theater, which took him back in time to an auditorium showing Star Wars, Ep. 3, then no...it wasn't Dark Knight Rises. I'm sure he meant Batman Begins, which also came out in 2005.

Working for A&W, we've had a couple times when allergies are concerned and if we're extremely busy the chutes get full of food and the person working drivethru might give the wrong burger, or punch it in wrong so we don't get all the information we need when we make it in the back which can also cause problems. There was a case of one lady with a tomato allergy and instead of looking in the wrapper to make sure we made it right, she drove away and had to throw away the burger because she couldn't eat it. We all felt terrible about it. It's a surprisingly difficult job and you always have to be on point and miscommunication is a huge concern. Honestly, I would be thrilled if everyone checked to see if we got their shit right because then we can remake it while they're there, or add something we missed in the rush.
