For the first time ever Link actually seems to be somewhat in the right... and immediately gets his ass thunderclapped by Riju. Well, at least now he has a shared experience with koroks. And of course Link's twin sister would be mentally unstable.. who could've thought. Link's plan wasn't quite well thought out. If I were Link, I'd try something else. I'll just assume what he couldn't ask a woman to give the thunder helm to Riju because Link is the last person a saint woman would want to have any business with, and Zelda is too pissed at him to help. In that case, I'd try using his "divine beast" or whatever what amalgamation was. Just hear me out - he could put it right behind the Riju's throne room, which would obviously cause discomfort because no one wants that creative abomination in their field of view. She wouldn't be able to destroy it with lightning, as it is made out of stone, therefore forcing her out of the town to get rid of it. I'd imagine Riju wouldn't go alone, and call some of the Gerudo guards with her. When she leaves the town, I'd try to give her the lighting helm, since we are not breaking the "No Voe" rule anymore. If she rejects our proposition - we use our divine beast as ransom. I'd only remove the divine beast from the Gerudo soil if she takes the helm. If that doesn't work either, and she resorts to violence, we use our technological marvel to flood the gerudo town through fire hydrants, since water is a great electricity conductor, which would make their lightning weapons ineffective, since one missed lightining could hurt a tonn of gerudo civilians. The Gerudo Chief wouldn't want to hurt their own people, would she? When she is effectively disarmed, we throw her the lightning helmet and get the fuck out of there before we get an arrow in our ass. Sounds like a solid plan to me! I learned a lot of things from Link's playbook. Glory to the Korok Space Program!
