RUMINATIONS: Years ago, when I had planned to review the comic, I was actually thinking it would end with a fight between me and a Borg. I bought some costuming material off of eBay for that express purpose - a homemade Borg costume utilizing tubes and football padding that probably would have worked very well. However, that probably wasn’t going to happen just thanks to the changing sensibilities of the show when it came to random fights with fictional characters that had kind of fallen by the wayside for review shows… my own included. However, as it happened, I was going to be attending a convention with the Blockbuster Buster, doing a second crossover with him - this time on Flash Gordon. As such, he asked me to include a teaser for the crossover at the end of the episode. Normally I prefer not to do that kind of thing since I want the show to be mostly self-contained, but hey, it didn’t really hurt anything, so here’s the link to that crossover if you’d like to see:

For the youtube reupload, this one actually required a lot of re-editing. Aside from the fact that I show a lot of movie and TV clips that needed to be pared down to avoid ContentID issues, there was actually an entire sequence where I never had the comic panels moving. Not sure how I missed that when I was initially editing - I usually watch each sequence when I finish editing a part of it, but fortunately for the youtube edition I was able to actually make the sequence edited and not just still shots of the comic. I'm guessing I missed it because I was going out of town at the time for a convention and just was rushing the editing, but that's just sloppy of me.
If you've been paying attention to the background, this episode also showed the culmination of all the cybermats slowly taking over the shelves before just disappearing, which lead into the finale of the storyline where we see just how many cybermats there are now...
