I miss Cardboard PoIIo. Glad he's back as one of his host bodies so that something like what happened here never happens again. Also really saddened that Linkara never wore the badass Leather jacket again when he, Harvey and Linksano were tracking down Vyce. Had a real Ninth Doctor look to it which is always a good thing. XD But my favorite moment is still the ending quote "BEEP BEEP I am a Robot... I'm so glad he's back"

1) it's a shame that spiffy jacket never got used after this story was done. I liked the shine of it. 2) Watching Pollo die STILL hurts to even listen to. To me, Pollo like a brother to Linkara (I know Lewis has a brother irl but idk if the character of Linkara does) and losing a brother fucking hurts (speaking from experience). Pollo is still, to this day, one of my favorite characters on the show. He loves riffing Linkara, but only because he loves the big nerd (and don't we all?). Pollo may be a snarky, blue bastard, but he's also kind, smart, resourceful, and clever

I wonder if Linkara had already planned that far ahead, if he was inspired to bring the Entity back with this line, or if it was all random foreshadowing by a happy coincidence. At any rate, I remember this storyline, it was the first I watched from beginning to end "live"! I remember my surprise at the villain being Vyce and not Mechakara, that was well-revealed!

I think its safe to assume that Vyce has probably had several instances in the past where he thought he'd defeated the Entity only to find that more universes under his control were consumed by the Entity as its means of mocking him for thinking that it could be killed.

I mean, he was both wrong and right, the Entity did kill itself, it just left a piece behind thinking it would work as a lifeline to pull itself back from wherever it would go (that or there was a part of it that legitimately feared the idea of death so it came up with a narrative to let itself stay behind, either interpretation works honestly).

Gun and Sorcery is a bit of a weird one since it was supposed to be happening after To Boldly Flee, but the movie kept getting delayed, but I had to keep producing the story so I was having weekly storyline stuff throughout summer and couldn't mention anything that happened in it for a while (with the actual conclusion of the storyline happening in February 2013).

So it seems that all the robots Linkara builds end up getting tamed pretty easily. At least I assume Pollo and Nimue are tamed. I mean, Mechakara is able to disobey the three laws of robotics so he's obviously able to go against his programming in some capacity. Though if he *was* tamed then whyyyyyyy did he kill his Linkara? I mean... they *do* that? I mean I know that trying to *build* them to have flexible programming causes contradictions which causes them to go rogue (as with what happened with Silver and spoilers), but Linkara doesn't seem like the type of person to try that. Mm. Taming is complicated...

Concept from a game called OneShot :D a really neat one too. Okay, basically, in simplest terms: A robot who is tamed can do things beyond their programming, and can act as an actual companion rather than just a tool. The process involves treating the robot as though they are human, and requires a complete willing suspension of disbelief from the person doing the taming. It's a very long and involved process. From the oneshot wiki on Robots: "Although most robots do not have free will, a robot can be tamed, granting it much more flexible programming. To be tamed, an organic being must spend much time with the robot, and care about it as if it were alive. This is the only known way to give a robot any kind of free will."

Vyce has really shown to only be able to use his data form to transfer into other mechanical objects I.E. Pollos fat body, a shade, and even his own ship albeit with some time due to nimue, he hasn't really shown to use the same sort of power and abilities that the entity has used and would more than likely be absorbed into the entity much like everything else in a piece of the world is missing arc. Though that does make me wonder why didn't vyce grab a shade body to use rather than have it repair the body he's using. Edit: oh wait, vyce wasn't able to transfer out of the pollo body at the time, nevermind on that last part.
