RUMINATIONS: I feel like a lot more companies should be doing this kind of thing - making sequels to old bad/b-movies like this and doing something more with the concepts presented. I’m aware of only three off the top of my head - the Plan 9 sequels talked about in this episode and the Tinglers, which I covered in a Longbox episode. And while I thought the Tinglers was okay, I felt it needed more than just two issues to play with its ideas more.
I had considered breaking out the Criswell impression again for the ending, but I kind of like the idea of someday Atop the Fourth Wall ending bookended by the Criswell bit, as I had done for the Introduction video I made years and years ago. I doubt it’ll ever happen, but it’s a neat thought.
