Cheers Tony,appreciate the request man,i'd suggested this in the comments a few times when they'd asked to hear more from Mike in particular,this seemed to fit the bill nicely. Almost a prelude to Hi Ren of sorts,and psychologically,well,we all know,all too well where it ultimately led. R.I.P Chester. Pretty sure the visuals were meant to irritate and get under your skin,so they definitely achieved their goal on that front. If i had to pick just one favourite track from Hybrid Theory,i think i'd have to go with Points Of Authority,the first Linkin track i ever heard and it holds a special place in my heart.Another wicked reaction,Cheers guys!🙌

@@DoubleTakeJC U're welcome, there's a 1 hour long video in the LP official channel of the 2003 live in Texas where they cover most of their most popular songs, Chester and Mike sounds crazy good, that's probably their best ever live show, if you guys are in doubt of what live performance to choose from whatever song you need to react to, the 2003 live in Texas is a no brainer :D

@ Exactly, loads of energy and passion and always about real things that people are going through. That’s why they blew up the way they did because so many people could relate to their songs. I guess I’m a little bias in saying that LP is one of greatest bands Live I’ve ever heard. A lot of their songs do sound better live than the studio versions!! ❤️

When I got this album from my sister, which she had stolen from her ex, I kind of discarded it and listened only to "By Myself." I was totally uninterested in the other songs. Back then, I was only into Evanescence and Within Temptation, which I called female goth rock. Now, most people call it symphonic rock/metal. But I digress. When I finally gave the album a proper listen, I was blown away. It was so good that I listened to it on repeat for months. My favorite song on there was "Pushing Me Away."

What sparked my interest in listening to the album? I discovered fan-made music videos with Dragon Ball Z footage and Linkin Park music as tracks. That sparked an emotional investment. I'm not an anime fan, but Dragon Ball always had me hooked, and now that I'm 37, I'm stoked that new episodes are being released.
