Omg, i am yet to find a tidy Spotlight, my local one is so ridiculously dark, & the isles are so full of crap that you can hardly get past. I don't know what would happen if someone in a wheelchair wanted to go shopping there, so bad. Also, yes please show us the backdrop making! xx

In Townsville our spotlight is very clean and tidy. It's lovely. When I lived Cranbourne North the shop there was neat also. BUT that was in 2010. Thanku Kate. Love watching.

Our spotlight is a bit like that in Queanbeyan NSW. We don’t even have one in Canberra. But we have 3 Lincrafts? I am enjoying all your videos so nice to hear an Aussie for a change.

Hi Kate.. Yes i love OZ yarns there staff are so helpful there.. and there yarn supply is in bulk.. No 1 shop. No 2 yarn is spot savers or Aaron yarn I used to buy it at big w used to stock it but not seen for 2yrs now.. Happy hooking lady's

I have two Spotlights in my South Eastern Victoria area but they are both dismal when it comes to yarn. Never hear of OZ but I googled and found one in Somerton, which is just over an hour away from me. A bit far, but maybe worth the trip.

I agree about the Roxburgh Park store, I actually emailed them once to complain it was so bad. The reply that I was given was there was a new store manager & he was still trying to sort the store out. Here we are several months later & the store hasn’t changed a bit. Great videoing Mum 😄

I’m using the Needles yarn at the moment! The yarn itself is fine but it has lots of joins which is really annoying!! Not sure if I just got a bad batch or if it’s common for this specific yarn. Oz Yarn’s cotton is AMAZING though! 10/10 would recommend 🙌🏼 thanks for watching Kerryn 🙂💖

Kate Polizzi Thank you. I bought some yarn from a hot dollar store the scarf turned out beautiful but the yarn tends to pill easily. So then I went to spotlight and had no idea where to start as most the learning videos I watch are based in USA and the yarn there is either 4 or 6 etc where the yarn here is 8ply, 10ply 12ply etc.

Yes I totally agree it can be hard with such a huge U.S presence here on KZbin! As a starting point I highly recommend the 4 Seasons USA Spot Saver Yarn from Spotlight. It’s great value and great quality!! Definitely one of my favourites! 😊
