I found the song utterly believable as an entry, the staging more Russia 2008-2009 than 2020 - the staging should have been a little more digitally / technologically interesting (I was missing some Sergey Lazarev-ness)

Oh my god I think this song totally could be Russian entry for Eurovision haha:) It stuck in my head for weeks now!! And Dan Stevens was so believable in this movie, he was my favourite character there!

I really think is kind of funny that one of Dan Stevens previous big roles was the Beast in live-action version of the Beauty and the Beast from a couple a years ago (against Emma Watson). His costume in this is very very "beastlike" (ornamentet coat from the 1700s) , the jungle theme and the title of his song in this movie "Lion of love", it seems like he is the (jungle) beast once more!

The guy singing is a Swedish background singer from popular sing-along TV-show "Lotta på Liseberg" in Swedish TV4. You can bet he will now participate in Melodifestivalen 2021, no doubt about it.

I agree with Deban about its staging not being "big" enough, especially for us Eurofans, since we know that Russia can go crazy with it. However, I love this song and Dan Stevens' performance!

It´s interesting to see a picture of Jessica Andersson on the wall. :) The song sounds like a song that I´ve heard in ESC. There are many songs that are boring, silly or cheesy in ESC in my opinion so it all makes sense. The songwriters had this intention when writing songs for this film. This song is better than many songs I´ve heard in ESC though.

The one thing I dislike about the live performance of Lion of Love is the impossible camera changes - I know its a movie but one of my favourite parts of Eurovision is looking into the clever camera tricks done by the crew but here the cameras just vanish. As an example: At the end when the camera goes around Dan and ends up almost in front of him you should then see the camera operator in the next shot but you don't which ruins the performance for me (not saying I want to see the camera operator but I want the shots to actually be logical and practical). Also loving the ongoing feud about this movie between the wiwiblogs team, I personally loved it btw.

Guys, do you know the Russian singer *Alexander Panayotov* ? (he has long dreamed of getting to Eurovision, and even in 2017 he was supposed to go. But something went wrong, and they chose Samoilova🙄🤷 ...) In short, in Russia (and in general in the CIS countries) everybody knows and understands that _Alexander Lemtov is the prototype of Alexander Panayotov_ . You only google his name, you will immediately notice the external similarities. It's not even a similarity, it's just a copy. But as for music, I agree with you here - Kirkorov's style.

There's a section in the credits of dancers you could cross reference those names with images from the movie if you really want to know the dancers names. The dancers names come shortly after the cast list

yes it fit's in a Eurovision movie, but charts... no. I still find in fun - but in the movie. I will never know, how I would have felt, if that entry really made it to the real Song Contest
