The term hyper realistic is something I’m not a fan of. It means more than realistic. How can something be more than realistic? It’s the same as saying 110% real.

@@cw4608 To me it just means a painting or drawing and is nearly indistinguishable from a photograph. The talent to create those is astonishing. This video is simply a good painting.

It doesn't really mean more than real. Another term is photo realism, which is a better description. Photorealistic paintings really do look like they could be a very good photograph. This painting is not that.
