This is so true, when I used to work in retail we would always occasionally get these customers that came into the store with the sole purpose of complaining, they didn't have an actual reason for being there. They would try to find even the tiniest thing they could complain about and make a big deal out of it even use that as an excuse for degrading talk. Even one of my colleges was a terrible person that was always trying to cause as much trouble as possible for everyone, including customers! She would just pretend to help them while trying to make them feel bad about themselves.

People like this really grind my gears because these are usually the same kinds of people who will willingly turn a blind eye if they actually do come across an animal that is, God forbid, actually being abused or something. The kind of language they use is rooted in such performative activism, namely on social media, and the amount of it these days is insane. Sometimes nowadays it just feels like everyone & their mother has to deal with hateful comments by folks who are purposefully twisting your words & actions, acting like you've done this heinous thing even though they know damn well you didn't & wouldn't do that. Tends to really just be them projecting their own behaviors really. What you're doing is amazing but also hard work, you have every right to be tired from having to deal with this sort of nonsense on top of that. Hey bud, been watching for months and I enjoy watching your interaction with all the animals. I think whoever complained doesn't know canines at all. In my experience (casual) if you treat a dog (or wolf) like other dogs and wolves treat each other, your good. Act like you are one of the pack able to take a little nip from time to time and to give a bit of it back. Never hurtful. They need to respect you too, and they are predisposed to a hierarchy, you are finding your place in the pack. The wolves love you, it shows. Thank God for big bird as the example was essential and no worse than someone tricked into biting into a chilli picked from a garden plant *when other children emulate their parents , and l think that's not the right way to go actually)) but if you tell your child not to stick a fork into the toaster and by circumstance happen to be jump starting your vehicle and have a battery near on the ground and you explain there's a jolt from electrical current and you've accidentally jolt yourself and the child is curious then you explain and say be careful., and to be ready for the jolt of you want to test see what a small electric current can do . knowledge and so they get a jolt and they know something important and feel happy because they got the truth and survived and it makes them feel empowered ., and not fragile and helpless., but not too tall or overbearing. If you want to wait for hours in the sleet and snow or the blazing sun 🌞. And that's only for vehicles. Regardless of the comments on social media, you will interact and play with the animals how you best see fit (and what the facility allows?). You seem very in tune with the animals in your care, and, ideally, that would mean there is a low chance something will happen to you. Even facilities that follow strict hands-off or minimal interaction with animals have accidents; it just happens. I hope that misfortune never falls upon you! I love seeing the animals you work with; they all seem happy and healthy and want to interact with you. I assume if they weren't in the mood for play, you leave them be. Seems logical to me.

This is 100% the CORRECT way to interact with animals. Beyond Wolves & Canines, many animals respond to a little shake of the snout. Tis a great way to connect with them once one have bonded that is. I hope everyone disregards whatever that idiot had to say! They obviously do not know or understand animals at all. Alos, I hope my other message gets through to everyone. James is extremely special & should be praised for all he and this facility does to encourage conservation & awareness to help Wildlife!
