Lionel MPC Electrics from 1978 - 8850 Penn Central GG1 and 8859 Conrail E33 in action

Here we have two MPC era Lionel electrics, the 8850 Penn Central GG1 and the 8859 Conrail E33 Rectifier in action on my layout. Both are great runners and both were still operating on the real railroad when these were made in 1978. The GG1 is pulling the LTI Amtrak passenger cars from 1988 and the E33 pulls a mixed consist of mostly early MPC freight cars.
