Precisely the video I was looking for. I always wondered how many mouth movements are required for a character. 80+ is a pain but I guess once it's done, it should make life much easier. Gonna binge watch your toon boom tutorials, sensei!

Your tutorials are great man, to the point entertaining and teaching small little things that i may have missed I didnt know you could use rename drawings in the x sheet to place drawings in the order you wanted. SUPER useful thank you thank you!

Where is two? I'm having fun watching your other videos but can't find a part two for this. So many unanswered questions. Is there a way to have a placeholder so the mouth is always in the same place regardless of character movement? Any tricks to speed up the workflow or is every frame adjusted by hand for each word? Can sets of movement be saved and dragged in so if your character said say 'hippo' a lot made of three shapes can you make the mouth shapes needed from individual and save as a set so only have to add one set and not three individual ones?

Can you do a video explaining how you turn your character like at 0:06? I'm used to working with Anime Studio and in there is quite easy to do that but I really don't know how it works in ToonBoom. Thanks

7:45 I don't have the option to "Rename By Frame". Is it because I have the Essential version? I am really struggling with this, as I often add in new drawings out of order (inbetweens etc) but the ordering always gets messy and unusable.

QUESTION. once you create your mouth and character how do you attach the mouth to that character so when the charcter moves the mouth will move with the character? SOS
@carlosortegaart6 жыл бұрын
With pegs Pegs are what you "move" instead of the drawings Master_head_peg would contain the head peg as well as all pegs that have facial features
