Better safe than sorry for sure. I have mine in a big ammo can drilled for pressure relief and each battery is in a sealed lipo bag and then in a couple of the bigger zippered fireproof bags as well inside the can.

Yeah I definitely want to start getting lipo bags as a extra insurance policy.. I've just got so many batteries for my airplanes it's crazy. Lol

I've heard of using smaller boxes. You probably shouldn't keep all the batteries in the same spot.

They only go off while charging but I agree better safe then sorry.
