Thank you for touching upon things related to fasting and a low-carb-diet; I'm doing both and it sure is nice to understand the science behind it

Interesting that the enzymes are different. Could there be a lack of one of them, leaving monoglycerides behind? It makes sense that ketones would suppress fat breakdown, because we don't want all the fat to be melted at once. Are there other mechanisms of feedback that lypolysis.

Ketosis does not inhibit fat loss. Insulin does. Carb induced

HI, I am wondering something. I take caffein before a workout to give me some energy. I know that caffein has several effects on the brain (increase adrenaline, dopamine), and it increases the lipolysis. My question is when people get used to caffein the effect on the brain stimulation is not as strong as before but I wonder if the lipolysis effect will remain as high as at the beginning or if the lipolysis is related to the brain stimulation which would mean that if the brain effect decrease the lipolysis will decrease ? Thank you very much !

The general consensus seems to be that caffeine increases exercise performance over the short term, but as you rightly say individuals seem to become tolerant of its ergogenic effects over time. Here is a very recent study that attempted to validate this claim on a day to day basis from the point of first ingestion for your perusal. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6343867/ With regards to your question on the effects of long term intake of caffeine on lipolysis i could not find any studies that directly addressed this question. However, based on the evidence that individuals build a tolerance to the effects of caffeine I would hazard to guess that this could prove to be an ineffective weight-loss strategy over the long term. Hope this helps :-)

What software are you using to draw in this video?
@wondersofchemistry3 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, thanks for your message. In short, I use apple key note to create the drawings. Note the drawings i create from scratch most of the time, which can be time consuming. Once the drawings have been finalised with appropriate effects added, I then export the file to a multi media program for editing. I also create my own music ( I happen to also be a musician) using garage band or logic pro (dependant on which computer i am using). If your keen here is my music channel kzbin.info/door/7rjHzz0uGznhgOdAktxqzA Hope this helps. Regards, from Wonders of Chemistry
