Great video but you didn't address the slight wobble in the bed. How do you fix that?

Another good video...I like the detail you go into, thanks. I'm going to go through all of your channel content in the next few days to see how these mods are working out for you and then pull the trigger on a few for my own pro.

Mr Ron Jeremy sir, BRAVO! Good video, and finally one of your masterpieces I can watch with the kids! Very informative! I don’t have a Creality but have almost bought one more than I can count! I love that you’re reviving your passion and hobby. Good Job! I’ve shared your video on Twitter! Try to get to Edge of Tech (Jim), TH3D Tim, and Kuntry3D all can do wonders for growth! I’m waiting for the next one!

Wow, thank you so much for your kind thoughts... It took some time to decide to buy my CR10S-Pro but I'm so glad that I did. Family is everything and make sure to share it with them as this is a great way to spend time together. I'll be posting another video soon I'm trying for 1 per week but I have a backlog right now of videos I need to get done, so maybe more. thank you for subscribing and I look forward to hearing how your family likes the video. and thank you for sharing it with your friends as well.

Are you going to modify that printer? Or what are you going to do on this channel?
@LiquiDirt3D5 жыл бұрын
@@thelightspeed3d712 I will be modifying the printer a bit, yes, but it is really good now just some things that need fixing like fans and hot-end, etc. On the channel, we will be showing how to design real quality parts and not in Fusion 360 as it is well :( in my book so I will be teaching Alibre design (nope it's not free). We will be showing how to make and print functional parts not just dust collectors. We will design and print Hydroponic systems Planter pots and all kinds of things that can be used for the home. Well, that brings me to our custom designed 3d printer that we will be building on the channel as well. So much to cover there as well. that is a taste of what we have planned here. I hope that gives you a bit of insight into LD3D.

Hello, I have a Creality CR-10 with dual z axis motors. The z axis goes up and down when homing but will not go up when printing. Is it the machine or am i doing something wrong in Cura ?

The boat is not a "Benji", Benji is the 70s movie dog. Its Benchy, as in benchmark print.

Doesn't having a timing belt contacted defeat the purpose of having Dole lead screws to help solve any height offsets when you go through your leveling process so that doesn't really make any sense to me
@LiquiDirt3D5 жыл бұрын
No not at all, in fact, it enables the gantry to stay parallel to the build bed and thus have better prints. the reason for the timing belt is so that the gantry stays level. I think where you are confused is the travel of the Z-axis and your thinking that both ends should move but in reality that would change the angle of the nozzle to the build bed and give poor print results. The z gantry should move all together as one motion to keep the nozzle straight and plum to the surface face. Also the 2 motors are for stabilizing the Gantry they never move independant durring a print. By joining the 2 motors it keeps the Z-axis true at all times during the print. your Z-axis without the timing belt could act as a sea saw and cause bad layer adhesion and fail prints etc.

I'm unclear as to why the lower left corner of the bed would be "Home". The center of the bed is where a part should be built so why would that not be the best place for home?
@parmesanjon4 жыл бұрын
Machine home is always in a corner like that. Same way with CNC's, or other manufacturing equipment. Just move your part in your slicing software.

Worst printer out of the box experience for new and experienced users. Customer service is non existent and good luck if you have to return for a refund back to China. Stay far away from this printer. And get a PRUSA i3
