I am amazed by Wendy's paintings! From somewhere deep within me, there is a voice telling me that this is the art I have always wanted to see and admire. Thank you, Liron, for enabling me to discover it!

I really enjoy this series of masters! I'm a little late to watching this, but one needs something to look forward to viewing. Seriously, her skills are truly amazing! That last picture knocked me out. I am blown away. Thanks for sharing such a gifted painter.

I was blown away by this video. I looked at her site and enjoyed watching her work and telling her story. WOW It's a world beyond what I will ever do, but thank you so much for telling us about her. Your vids are my very favorite of all the ones I watch. You are on your way to being a very well known and admired artist... well you already are. But you don't stop and just keep challenging yourself. It's wonderful to watch!

Wendy is a painter's painter. No gimmicks. No formulas. Just good draftsmanship. Good find Liron.

Wonderful work. Regarding pencil, you can use water-soluble graphite pencils and that then allows you to sketch but not see any lines as you work it in. Just keep light strokes.

I am searching since long in Europe for such big sheets of watercolor paper like Walton Ford is using...he has sort of special deliverer for it. Amazing painter, great inspiration again. :-)

another great example of less is more, love the mono tone work with its scene of drama, strip away the colour and like a black & white photo you get a completely new image. tfs

Hi Liron, Can you give the names of the other two artists that you discovered that impacted you in the same way Wendy Artin did? Joseph ___? and Alvaro___? I wasn’t able to fully catch the names from your video. Thanks!

Wow a total master ! Do you think some works could be ink. The last sculpture work is awesome. The figure painting reminds me of the style you did off the head with just shapes. I cant remember if you mentioned how long wendy has bern painting? She is so clever she scares me 😂 i couldn't imagine ever reaching near her level. Can only admire not aspire 😆

Hello Do you know what paper she uses?
@LironYan4 жыл бұрын
I am not sure! But there's a very high probability it's Arches, it's fairly common in Europe (: also - I believe a lot of her paintings are done on hot-press paper, I don't see too much texture.
@AD-tv5lj4 жыл бұрын
Liron Yanconsky i wrote Wendy and there ‘s her answer: « I use a variety of paper. The blurry effect is wet on wet. That is on either Arches watercolor paper (not rough, both other surfaces) or Khadi smooth cotton rag paper (currently unavailable) or Rives BFK. I also use Canson mi-teintes for quick work. »

I have enjoyed watching you and how you you share you’re mistakes as well as you’re great paintings. You have given me ideas of paintings to tackle and you are much younger than I. I also love negetive painting how you can create as you go. Also how you can talk as you paint Keep on being a good inspiration for people Sandra
